I'm considering signing this for ALIPAC.

I need to know if you think YES, sign it or NO dont sign it.

I also need to know if this line is accurate or not.

As of the writing, however, the full details of the compromise have not been made public, and no legislative text has been published for open review.

From what I understand there will now be a conference between the House and Senate to hammer out a final bill to be voted on by both bodies, and either signed or vetoed by Obama.

Vortex,

This stimulus bill will only go into conference committee if the US Senate passes it.

For that to happen, sixty senators have to vote YEA on Cloture for the bill to be considered for a formal vote.

Then 51 have to vote to pass it.

Then it would go to Conference Committee for differences between the House and Senate bill to be worked out.

At that point Im not sure if the bill goes back to the Senate for a vote or goes directly to Obama's desk.

I believe the Senate will have to vote on it first. If passed it will go to conference (that's the way it's supposed to work).

Sorry for repeating some of what you said, William. Guess I was still working on my post when you posted.

When I googled "stimulus bill" #7 on my list was huffigton post which has a full text of the house version.Sorry my computer will not handle 600 plus pages.

OK so the Huffington Post has a copy of the full version....but maybe what the letter really means is an official version that is open to comment from the public?
