Just for clarification:
So, in the Nevada caucuses a person must register with a Party. Does anyone check to see if that person is a citizen or are they even required to be? I suppose someone could become a member of a Party, but never vote (being legally incapable). Or are they, technically speaking, even required to be citizens capable of voting to attend a caucus? There are US citizens who are barred from voting (like ex-felons) so are they automatically barred from a caucus, too?
Our state has regular primaries with only citizens voting. But is that how a caucus works under state law? It sounds like, when you use the term "Registered Republican" that denotes a legally registered voter."Men of low degree are vanity, Men of high degree are a lie. " David
