airdale, as much as I agree with you about standing their ground, where they are is becoming a new mecca for the illegals. To boot, there is little in this area in the way of jobs right now, we are across the river essentially, and jobs for much of the construction industry has dropped all over our NW region. People I know in the logging industry say that some companies are now bringing in crews many suspect to be illegals, though not for the actual logging (probably the menial tasks), but we all know it will become that eventually, seems no industry is protected anymore from becoming a slave wage job filled with illegals by money hungry employers.
ExCaliGal, it has become tough to be able to live in a place you are happy with and feel at home in, Montana is nice, I too think it is beautiful there.
Want to live where there are beaches, under NO circumstances move to any one town on the Oregon coast, it is dead so far as jobs, only tourist industry is even moving forward, and slowly at that. My brother and his family lived in central Oregon coast town for five years, and he basically went from job to job before they gave up and came back up to the Portland metro area.
Personally I think there are few places where illegals have not set up camp in, it needs to be your families focus to live in a safe community, and where you will be happy in. Wherever you go, talk to people about which part of town, or the state has best job opportunities and where is best to live."In the beginning of a change, the Patriot is a scarce man, Brave, Hated, and Scorned. Well I love it here in Big Sky. Bought a house on a double lot for $65,000. Taxes on it are$600 a yr. Great area, no illegals in the county that we know of, friendly people who actually say hello and wave even if they don't know you. When I first came here I was driving in town and everyone waved at me...thought I had a flat tire at first before I realized they were just friendly. You may encounter some of the yuppy types who moved from California but for the most part very friendly turf here

I've always wanted to go fly fishing in Montana. I heard there are a lot of good patriots there who love this country still and will fight for our freedom.
I think I will visit this summer and do some hiking and enjoy the company of some friendly Americans.
Northern New Hampshire is great but it's still too close to Massachusetts.

I hear that Kentucky and West Virginia have low illegal alien counts but they are not states packed with urban attractions if you need those.
