Thread: Illegal Immigrant Saves 9 Years Old Boy

I know it will erased in a few minutes, since alipac and other organizations either pro or against illegal immigrants only allow posts that suport their ideas, even when their not sure if the facts are true or not. Anyway, even if one or two people read it there will be at least one or two that will see that illegals are human beings like everybody else, that deserve rrespect and dignity.


Cordova Soberanes was near 45-year-old Arizona resident Dawn Alice Tomko and her 9-year-old son, Christopher, when they needed him the most. Tomko and her son were camping on Thanksgiving Day. As she was driving on a U.S. Forest Service road in a remote area north of the Mexican border, she lost control of her van and landed 300 feet from the road.


She was trapped in her vehicle and died a few hours later. Christopher was not seriously injured and was able to get out of the van and walked away from the crash in search for help.

This is when Cordova Soberanes, a 26-year-old Mexican illegal immigrant, found Christopher. Cordova Soberanes, a bricklayer from Magdalena de Kino, Mexico, was two days into his walk and about 50 miles from Tucson, Ariz., when he saw Christopher with scrapes on his leg and dressed in shorts despite the desert cold.

At this time, Cordova Soberanes had to make a very important decision, to think about himself and continue his lengthy walk into the U.S. or save the life of a child he did not know, and know if found he would lose what he had so far achieved and be deported to Mexico.

Well, let’s see, he is an illegal immigrant, a criminal, so he would obviously care less for the boy and continue on his way, right? Wrong!

Cordova Soberanes’ actions show that illegal immigrants are human, have a heart, care for others, and could show a few things to some people in our country about having a heart and putting others before themselves.

Cordova Soberanes told authorities he never thought of leaving the child after the boy took him to the edge of a canyon and showed him the accident site.

Really, why didn't he go for help Dawn Alice Tomko lived for 10 hr's after the crash! He sat there while she slowly died.... Illegal's are human law beakers! Do law beakers get treated the same way as good citizens?

No, law beakers do not have the right to be treated the same than good citizens.

Well this story is disturbing...

You may recall the story of Jesus Manuel Cordova, the illegal alien who supposedly "saved" a boy in the desert after his mother's vehicle went off a cliff and she died. Well after much wait, more than 30 days, for the police report and much stalling by the police department that in the end actually required a threat from the state attorney for the information, finally Ruth of Illegal Protest has received the official police report on the incident.

Either way there are some troubling details in the story that the press and Main Stream Media totally ignored. One of which is that in the police report Cordova claimed that he couldn't reach the vehicle even though he heard the woman's pleas for help! The newspapers and media never even mentioned that she was still alive! They did however interview Cordova and he stated that he reached the vehicle and got chocolate and cookies for him and the boy while they waited 14 hours, from 5PM until 7AM by a fire. 14 hours while the mother lay there dying!

Cordova has been held up as a hero and even has legislators pushing for a green card for his heroic actions. The truth is far from heroic though.

Yeah, Ruth is parcial, just like the others I've mentioned before. As I said, I've seen people fcrom both sides lying, so there's no way to know if what she claims on that link is true or not. But it seens to me that you believe and trust her 100 % eh?

Also, don't you think it's strange that the boy and his family went to the media to thank the guy that saved him? He should instead tell the true about how the bad mexican let his mom die...

This story is just a reminder that there is both good and bad in every group. But the immigration debate is not about whether or not illegal aliens are good or bad people. It is about BEING FAIR TO ALL PROSPECTIVE IMMIGRANTS AND NO MORE PREFERENTIAL TREATMENT GIVEN TO ANY GROUP OR NATIONALITY just because they belong to a certain group or their country of origin is close to our border.

We have already reached our saturation point of illegal aliens here in America. American citizens and legal residents have been too nice for too long, because we understand that the illegal aliens aren't all bad. But enough already. Even if the presidential election goes to a pro-amnesty candidate, the American people will never allow another amnesty bill to pass.
