I cant believe some of the imbecils at FDA received 35 Million in bonuses! This is a huge part of the problem. Its almost as though people in high places are being paid to be silent about poisonous products and containimated foods from places like Mexico and China.

Until I read it here I had never heard of the 35 Million in bonuses. Those were not bonuses, those were bribes. Paid for by skimming our tax money? Tax American citizens then throw them out of work with illegals and H1-B's and then force them to buy Chinese. What a vicious cycle!

WASHINGTON -- For the second year in a row legislators have scolded the Food and Drug Administration for doling out most of its bonus money to top managers instead of field inspectors. And for the second year in a row legislators have given the FDA more money.
President Bush signed an Iraq war spending bill into law on Monday that also included an amendment to beef up funding for the FDA after the agency dealt with a June tomato recall. But in a report issued last week, the House Energy and Commerce Committee outlined some concerns about the FDA’s employee bonus structure.
