Information worth knowing when deciding who to support in 08
Rep. Duncan Hunter has been fighting illegal immigration and the drug trade since 1988, which is 10 years before Rep. Tancredo was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives.

Rep. Tancredo's record against illegal immigration is commendable, but IMO it doesn't measure up to the accomplishments of Rep. Hunter. Honestly, everything I've researched to date indicates Tancredo is more of a talker and Hunter is a doer.
I can fully understand why Rep. Tancredo has so much strong support among ALIPAC members. Heck, i'd be giving him 100% of my support too if Hunter weren't a candidate. Hunter, Tancredo, and Paul are all worthy candidates deserving our support, but unfortunately, (from the Highlander movie) "there can only be one." Somehow, almost an impossible task I'm sure, we need to all come together to propel one of our candidates through the primaries. I think it's possible that we could become our own worst enemy should we remain divided when it counts."The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing" ** Edmund Burke**

We need to focus on one of them so that he can get the nomination instead of one of the open border loonies. Most of us have limited resources and we need to use them to elect someone who is going to support Americans and America.

I do like Duncan Hunter. Wasn't he the one who got the 97 miles of fencing done in CA?
I do like Tancredo as well. I haven't done enough research on Ron Paul yet, but most everyone here seems to like him. I have to do more researching on him."Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting the same results is the definition of insanity. " Albert Einstein.

I will take any of the three as pres. I just hope they decide to join forces before the primaries. They cannot split the vote between them or we will end up with one of the no good, slimey, backroom deal, two faced, sellouts that are constantly pushed at us.

For those interested here are links to details about Tancredo and Hunter from Wikipedia, they are pretty complete and worth checking out to learn more about both men. It even has controversies they have both been through.

I'll support any candidate who is serious about stopping illegal immigration and is pro-life.

I'm back and here is what I found:
A conservative state lawmaker who pushed a failed anti-abortion measure earlier this year has plans for another that would instantly ban abortions in the state if the U.S. Supreme Court overturns Roe v. Wade.
"The honest reason behind this is, No. 1, I'm just plain flat-out against abortion," said Rep. Paul Ray, R-Clearfield.
Like a lot of other things, it seems all three share the same position on the abortion issue."The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing" ** Edmund Burke**
