Thread: Teamsters' protest is a Sham!

This letter was sent by one of our patriots who joined the Teamsters' protest in San Diego today.

Wondering what WE THE PEOPLE could do to stop this nonsense, I was hopeful when I heard the Teamsters were finally going to do something, and hold a protest at the inspections station this morning at 6:00am. When I got there, I saw about 5 police/CHP crusiers and 30 union people carrying small signs complaining about the safety of the Mexican trucks, and giving numerous interviews to all the media (Fox11, 600AM, 8-CBS, etc.). When I started to discuss with some of the union people the fact that ALL American workers were being sold out, and that we all need to stick together (I'm an Engineer who has been affected by the H1-B Visa insourcing), they really didn't have any comments at that point... but then, I noticed Ken down on the corner, and walked that way. Shortly thereafter, Ken noticed one of the Union Leaders distributing flyers to the Mexican Truckers, away from all the cameras - he was trying to ORGANIZE THEM! Ken was incensed! When I saw this, I became disgusted and immediately rolled up my flag, and started walking to my truck to leave... as I went by the crowd of "union picketers" at the inspection station exit, I yelled out that one of their union leaders was handing out flyers trying to organize the Mexican Truckers down the street, and they basically ignored me, or gave annoying little "we are so smart that we are pulling the wool over everybody" smiles - all except for one big fat guy that threatened to "knock me out", and said that he "didn't care if he went to prison"... I stood up to him, and basically told him I wasn't interested in hanging around with traitors, and then left.

It is all too clear to me that this "protest" was simply an act by the TEAMSTER leaders to attempt to appease their members into thinking they are trying to do something (all the while trying to organize the Mexican Truckers behind the backs of the lazy media). Remember that the TEAMSTER leaders appealed last week to the 9th “CircusÂâ€

Are you sure it was a Teamster trying to organize the Mexican truckers or another pop up union like the ones trying to organize illegal aliens and day laborers.

Mr. Teaze, who lives in San Diego, specificaly said that it was the Teamsters.

I hope there is something wrong here or we are in big trouble. Where are the Independant drivers?

Related to this, Jim Santangelo, the #2 official in the Teamsters, has been making the talk radio rounds. He admitted on the Al Rantel show (KABC 790) that while the Teamsters oppose guest worker programs, they do support amnesty for illegals in the country. Gee, I wonder why this is. Santangelo even told Rantel that he (Rantel) was "anti-immigrant" for opposing amnesty for illegals.

This is from the Teamsters web site in "2007 Legislative Priorities":

Immigration
The Teamsters will continue to work for comprehensive immigration reform that includes smart border security measures and earned legalization for undocumented workers who have contributed to our communities. The Teamsters will oppose legislation containing a guest worker program.

This is the first thing that popped into my mind when I heard the Teamsters Vice President, Jim Santangelo, on the Al Rantel show the other night. In fact, I called into the program because Santangelo was taking questions from listeners. I wanted to ask him if he would change his mind about the Mexican trucks if they would all join the Teamsters, but I was never able to ask the questions because of time restraints.

As I said before, I would never support Teamsters because they have been aiding and abetting illegals forever and they fully supported Amnesty! If this report is true...their members should all resign...that is to say if they have anymore American workers left!

The union has been sold out from the top. LIke the mob discovered years ago if you own the leadership of the unions then the rest don't matter.

I just sent LAWENFORCER's letter to Al Rantel. I urged him to get Santangelo back on the show to confront him with the Minuteman letter.! Al doesn't take kindly to this kind of double talk and I would love to hear him rake Santangelo over the coals. He did a good job of it 2 nites ago...Santangelo started out by saying he was against illegal immigration and Al really pinned him to the mat until he finally admitted the Teamsters does have illegals...hard working illegals...!!! What a traitor!!!
