Being in the U.S. illegally DOES NOT ENTITLE illegal aliens to anything. Public libraries should never be open to illegal aliens. Banks should not be used by illegal aliens.
Presentation of this "bogus id" by the city of New Haven is treasonous and the lawmakers behind this outrageous scheme should be tried, punished, and replaced by real American lawmakers who actually care about America.

What if a city decided to hand out cards to LEGAL residents only???? If they can hand them out to illegals, a town should be able to give them to people who can prove legal status! You have to prove you are a RESIDENT just to get a library card.

The other thing is only illegal aliens will apply for these cards, since the other residents will see NO need for having one. So you could pretty much identify illegals by who has the card!

They need to cut their funding, we need to demand that are taxmoney does not go to any state that knowingly harbors illegals!!

I like this. The burden would be placed on the person applying for the card to prove their citizenship and there would be no accusation of targeting the illegals; they just wouldn't have a card. We have some very creative people in here. Good work, gofer.

Yes, but I still don't understand "who" will these cards identify? The illegals I work with all use stolen or "fake" SS cards, so will the new ID card be in the name of the identity stolen or will the illegals actually use their real names?
