Thread: Iowa hardliner Steve King endorses Ted Cruz

This is a solid endorsement coming from a very solid conservative who has always been a strong supporter of enhanced border security and absolutely no amnesty in any form.

Makes you wonder now why none of Steve King's bills ever get out of committee and why he would support Cruz who supported legalization without citizenship, wanted to double green cards from 675,000 to 1.3 million, and increase H1B visas by 500%. Sounds to me like this endorsement isn't based on what's right for our nation to help solve our problems, it's about personal social views. That's really a shame to see Steve King put those views above the welfare of our nation. Otherwise, he would have supported or endorsed Donald Trump who wants to deport illegal aliens, ban all Muslim immigration until we know what's going on, and fix our bad trade deals.

All talk no action on immigration and the wrong action on trade that we've seen from Congress is killing our country. Any member of Congress who wants to elevate that problem to the White House is not on our side, in my opinion.

Zero endorsements from these snakes is a good thing. I hope it stays that way. Trump on his own with his people. That's all he needs to take it all the way to the White House. Listening to the debate tonight just made me sick, everyone except Trump wants their tariff free trade, no way has the knowledge or guts to do anything about it, and it will be the same ole, same ole incompetence.

It's funny how you always seem to find reason to criticize anyone that may support someone other than Trump. You criticized Sen. Session for speaking highly of Cruz and now you're attacking Rep. King of Iowa for endorsing him. Those two are probably the best friends we have in the U.S. Congress. I realize it's all are nothing for you with Trump, but your open attacks on our friends over this is absolutely ludicrous! As much as you would like to believe one individual can fix what ails our country, you are dead wrong. Regardless of who is elected president, Cruz or Trump, they will need help enacting their ideas. For you to bash our friends that could help is very counter-productive (IMO).
