I've written here before about the bogus oil shortage. My family was orignally in agriculture...I was born on a ranch and my grandparents ranched until they died. My parents moved to a boom town (Odessa, Tx) when I was four years old. I've been associated with the oil business from the bottom up all of my life.

My ex-husband was a consultant to the Japanese and the Italians in oil exploration. THERE IS NO OIL SHORTAGE. We have enough oil in colorado alone to run this country for 300 years. At one point we didn't have the technology to extract it..but we do now.

In the 80's five states were forced into depression due to our government's finagling. They just SHUT DOWN drilling and exploration...made it so expensive that those exploring for oil could not pay the taxes and make a profit.

There was once hundreds of families in Texas, Okla, Colo. NM, Wyoming, Louisiana that depended on oil exploration and refinery work. Those jobs are a rarety today.

Those are the facts, folks...finished us off in the term of Bush, Sr.

Every time they cry 'oil shortage' then they can manipulate more inflation...manipulate our fiat money.

We all want Illegal Immigration to stop but I think many people in the anti Illegal movement do not realize it is much bigger than the immigration fight.

Our true enemy is the congress that allows the Rockefeller's to finance this treason in the first place. We have Jay Rockefeller sitting in the senate that makes sure the votes are there for his Rockefeller Trust activities. Everything from funding the CFR to the Funding of the open borders crowd. His family started this movement 50 years ago.

It came out last weekend the NSA wiretapping scandal was leaked to the press by guess who...Jay Rockefeller. Another act of treason to weaken the USA in its fight against terrorism.

The American people should demand that the Government start anti trust legislation against the Rockefellar trust just like it did in the earlly 1900's.

Whatever you do always keep your money in FIAT. Dont do something stupid like back it by Silver or Gold. Nope wouldnt want to do that. I wonder why the Euro is backed by gold. It seems just so much easier to print money at will.

My personal opinion is that the Rockefeller's intend to financially ruin this country and turn it into a Socialist Order.

I think a few other names ought to be added to that list but I believe you have a valid point. I think that the top dogs moneywise want this country and every other country in the world to become their slaves.

And RR, the oil fields. Did you notice that when the price got up to three bucks a gallon last fall they all of a sudden has just about every one of those rigs running? I make two trips a year through that part of the country on I-10 and I-20. Last fall was the FIRST time I have ever seen that many up and running. Usually it's about 1/5th to 1/3rd.

I could have spit out my own teeth when the Pres said in the State of the Union Address that "Americans are too dependent on foreign oil." I wonder what dipstick told him to say that!

I have a friend in the oil business who told me most of the oil rigs in the Bakersfield were capped after WWII.

He said they are now getting some of them up and running.

Bush's speech about being addicted to oil is rediculous. What happened to 10 billion they invested in Hydrogen last speech?
