These foreigners should shut up and be glad we are not sending the army to Mexico City, which we can do under the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo, as Mexico is in gross violation of it.

Perhaps President Tom Tancredo will remind them of that.

I like the sound of that, President Tom Tancredo.

    Who is in control?

I am in error yes Clinton did create CAFTA and NAFTA but Vincente Bush abused the hell out of them. And I wonder if we can even dream about Tancredo as president. With the presses spinning out fraudulent documents by the boatload so these illegal parasites can register to illegally vote our vision of a government of legal citizens, by legal citizens, and for legal citizens may soon be a past distant dream.

    Started with BUSH 1

also.....The first president to mention ONE WORLD ORDER
    was BUSH 1

I agree no foreign countries should lobby our government to try to influence our laws and yes they do not want them back, they just want the dollars coming back to their country.

When trouble arises there is always one individual with a 'solution' and takes command. Very often, that individual is crazy!
    is that us???

These Latino politicians are upset because we are a pressure relief valve for them. The restless and downtrodden come here rather than changing things at home. The kindest thing we could do for Mexico is send the illegals back and let them change their system or continue to go through life with their thumb up their a___.

go figure...latin america's biggest pimps of the poor

    quote:
Latin America to protest US bill
A Mexican and his grandson look through the US-Mexico border fence in Tijuana
The US wants tighter security along the Mexican border
Officials from 11 Latin American countries have agreed a co-ordinated lobbying campaign against a tougher immigration bill in the US.

At a meeting in Colombia they said they were concerned about the bill, being debated in the US Senate, and wanted jointly to promote Hispanic migration.

The US proposal backs a 1,130-km (700-mile) fence on the Mexican border.

Washington has accused Mexico of not doing enough to stem the flow of illegal immigrants into the US.

Correspondents say that every day an estimated 1,500 Latin Americans, mostly Mexicans, cross into the US illegally.

    Campaign

The 11 countries meeting in the seaside resort city of Cartagena were Mexico, the Central American nations, plus Colombia, Ecuador and the Dominican Republic.

Officials decided to send a mission to Washington next week to identify key US lawmakers on the immigration debate, Salvadoran Foreign Minister Francisco Lainez said.

Latin American governments would urge US legislators to change or defeat the bill that has already been passed by the US House of Representatives.

The lobbying campaign will use all diplomatic channels, as well as churches, charities and chambers of commerce, officials said.

President George W Bush has stressed that "border security must adapt to the nation's changing needs".

But Colombian Foreign Minister Carolina Barco said it was essential for Americans to understand how much Hispanic workers contributed to the economy.

The US bill also covers the use of troops and police to halt migrants, and tighter employment controls.

Like Lou Dobbs said the other night, "Isn't it funny how we spend so much of our taxpayer funds fighting the so-called war on drugs in South America when 90% of all the drug refining/carteling is coming from Mexico. The Bolivian President as well as many other reps from South America were about to die laughing (during the inagguration of the first female president of Chile, Dr. Michelle Bachelet) when Condaleeza Rice(after dictating(more or less talking down to) in a bullying manner to South American leaders that they should cut their production of the coca plant(which has been used for various medicinal purposes for the last 10,000 years in South America), accepted a so-called gift from bolivian president Evo Morales....the gift....a guitar made out of coca leaves. Keep in mind, Evo Morales is the same leader(best friend of Hugo Chavez-who is extremely close to Fidel Castro) who has verbally made it his mission to be the worst nightmare of the United States.

Dr. Rice accepts the guitar and does not even realize what is is made of. In fact, she quotes, "Thank you, thank you"....it is so beautiful. While watching this I could not believe that the secretary of state of my adopted nation was so uneducated that she did not even know what coca leaves looked like as well as their use in history yet was able to accept a gift made of the product.

My beloved Americans, how sad is it that our administration has the nerve to go to the continent which merely grows the coca plant itself and dictate to them(more or less trying to order them) how much to produce when that continent is not exporting it in the drug form. It is well know all over the Americas that Mexico is exporting 90% of the most known dangerous/addictive drugs to this nation. South American leaders want to legalize the growth of coca however, they want to destroy cocaine factories which is having drug lords running scared. This is the biggest joke in all South America-especially amongst colombians. Quote:"We dont even have to export it anymore". "The Mexican drug cartels will pay us $2500.00 per kilo of coca leaves(not illegal to export or grow) which only takes about a month to gather." Yet, we, - United States government is sending troops to fight this war(invade sovereignty of nations in which diplomatically we are not supposed to do so)on drugs. Why aren't we fighting the war on drugs at the border and/or in Mexico-where 90% of the illegal drugs are coming from? Why? Can someone answer me please?
