I hope you can read this

I found this cartoon in the Saturday newspaper.
Although it`s only a cartoon, I find nothing funny about it.
Not only is it not funny, there`s a true story behind it. There are also so answers to question that have been ask on this very site.
What kind of impression does this cartoon give you?
What kind of name would you give this cartoon?

(this cartoon was independent of itself and not with other cartoons, I think it was pubished for a reason)

I don't find it funny either. I can read the first 3 captions, but I can't read the 4th.

It's trying to say that we need illegal immigrants to do our work around the house. NOT IN MY HOUSE. We don't need illegal labor to do our work.

Someone writing this cartoon definately has an agenda. Maybe their afraid of losing their illegal labor. We don't need illegal aliens for household cleaning. We don't need to hire illegal aliens to cut lawns. My cousin runs a landscaping business and does'nt use illegal labor. Americans can hire legal residents to cut lawns and clean if they feel the need. We do it all ourselves in my house.

I see nothing funny about it either. The majority of Americans clean their own bathrooms and mow their own grass! Where I come from the illegals have taken the manufacturing jobs that have always required at least a high school diploma from American citizens and still do but are now willing to hire illegals with 6-8th grade educations and have put our teenagers out of work at mcdonald's and burger king.

1. Legal Americans make up 76% of landscapers in this nation.

2. Legal Americans make up 78% of maids and housekeepers in this nation.

3. If we increased the wages in agriculture by 40%, a family of four would pay an additional $10.00 for all produce consumed in a year.

Not to try and put your facts down or anything BearFlagRepublic, but where are you getting these facts from? I would love to quote them and tell someone where they are from when they ask me in a debate


Maybe it's different from where I'm at, but there's tons of people here that employ illegals. ....then again I live in a gated community in South Florida so I guess the owners of these homes would rather pay someone who isn't even supposed to be here in cash so they don't have to mark it in their income taxes as a "luxury"....

#1 and #2 come from the Pew Hispanic Center--a non-partisan think-tank on Hispanic issues. #3 comes from Harvard immigration economist George Borjas--widely considered the authoritative name on the subject.

It's about being a spoiled American using illegal labor to do what we become too fat and lazy to do, common chores around the house. It's insulting and it really makes me angry, too! They make the characters look like everyday Americans, but I dare say the wealthy are the abusers.

As for a title, I'd be banned!

I would gladly pay the extra $10.00 and more to see that Americans got
those jobs.
