Well, illegal immigration was a problem already in the early 1950's as Eisenhower used "Operation R******R" to rid the nation more than a million illegal aliens in only 7 months.

You're both right. In the late 50's, James Dean and Elvis Presley were emblematic of the loosening of morals. Marijuana came along with U.S. troops returning from Vietnam, and the mix of pot and LSD and birth control pills instigated the sexual revolution of the 60's. The rejection of traditional/Christian/American morality culminated in the Supreme Court legalizing abortion in 1973. There were probably well under a million illegal aliens in the U.S. in 1973, so let's not blame them. It was my generation's fault.

However, there are 30 to 38 million illegal aliens here now. Cocaine, heroin, ecstasy, and illicit prescription drugs worth a hundred billion dollars a year, along with kilotons of marijuana, are a pervasive force in destroying the moral virtue of this generation of Americans.

But it is also true that "Illegal invasion corrupts everything it touches!"

  Illegal aliens break the law by entering, staying, working, driving, and by not paying taxes, Social Security, or car insurance.
  
  Misguided and misinformed churches and relief agencies aid, abet, and harbor illegal aliens as if they were America's next great civil rights cause, rather than just ordinary criminals stealing the American way of life from American citizens.
  
  Landlords and bureaucrats who provide housing and services to illegal aliens break laws against aiding, abetting, and harboring.

So, as much as the illegal invasion corrupts everything it touches, American sexual morals were already corrupt.
