We don't spit on people. Secondly, there are liberals here on this board that do not support or like illegal immigration. Even 65-70% of Democrats want more done to control illegal immigration.

It's true that people that are liberals in the media and politics share a major part of the blame, but not ALL liberals.

Liberals like schools, education, and health care for the poor and many are starting to realize that illegal immigration is destroying all of that.

Personally, anyone who gives EITHER SIDE OF THE AISLE a break on this issue hasn't searched out the truth

I'd say, without doubt, that both sides have allowed this to happen which then begs the question, "WHAT ARE THEY GAINING?"

Thank you for standing up for Liberals who are fighting like crazy to correct this moronic situation facing our country.

The point is, those of us fighting illegal immigration come from both parties, as well as some other parites. WE MUST UNITE IN THE CAUSE, forget the parties. Watch for the individual elected officials who are fighting for the American people, black Americans, white Americans, and legal immigrant Americans.

Fight your fight with knowldege. Name calling and spitting are a waste of your time. And spitting is considered assault.

The traditional liberal/conservative split doesn't hold on the immigration issue. You've got a small minority of elites on BOTH the Left and the Right thumping the tub for endless immigration, with the rest of us -- the vast majority of Americans of ALL persuasions -- stuck in the middle paying for it. On the Far Left, you have the Bleeding Heart Liberals who's hearts bleed for all minorities (so long as they don't have to live amongst them). And on the Far Right, you have the Rightwing Corporation Types who see millions of new immigrants as nothing but cattle for them to feed on: an endless source of cheap labor, and millions of new consumers to buy their crappy products. The immigration issue isn't between the Left versus the Right, but between those of us who still have a lick of common sense versus those who are just utterly and completely nuts. Its reassuring to see the wide cross-section of people on this site. As a group we probably agree on nothing, except for the need to put the breaks on our insane level of mass immigration.

How about we take some of the money poured into ENTITLEMENTS and pay our MILITARY folks a damned living wage?? Might be nice to give it to people who actually DESERVE IT.

oooh I love this topic. The terms liberal and conservative haven't meant a damn thing in thirty years. In fact when I learn things like that Newt Gingrich helped Bill Clinton to pass NAFTA, it makes me wonder if part of the gameplan is to keep to keep lazy American minds locked in a pointless idiot's debate over conservative vs liberal. I mean what do those terms mean, anyway?

I agree. I'm tired of paying people to NOT work...farmers to NOT plant....subsidizing this and that. While our military personnel must live on food stamps...go for months without being paid...be called up and then not released...I wish they'd treat illegal aliens as badly as they treat our military.
