This is unbelievable. Look what I found at their website! They purchased a building 4 blocks from the White House?! How convenient.

Please keep in mind that becuase "The U.S. Marine Corps" "supports" La Raza, it does NOT mean Marines in general support them!! Do not generalize! No Marine I know would ever give money to such a cause.

Most likely, the Marine Corps recruiting command "supports" various youth leadership programs--including those other than La Raza--and doesn't do much research into whom they're supporting. I believe there's more than meets the eye here...

I agree.

I disagree - every organization should carefully review and understand whom they are giving money. Being naive is not an excuse. ANY support to a group with the name of "The Race" would have to raise some sort of suspicion. If we take this tact, we might as well forgive the other 20 or so fortune 500 companies that give them money.

tk422, you are right and many Marines would not and will be not happy to find this out.

We need someone to find out exactly which part of the Marine Corp authorized these funds to La Raza. I bet it is on up the chain near the White House.

If someone can make some calls and find out. We need to find out so we can turn some public pressure on having these funds discontinued.

I got to get ready for work so I didn't read all the posts in this thread but keep in mind that the Marines stage the TOYS FOR TOTS program every year. I'm sure that LaRaza distributes some of those toys.

And also keep in mind that if they printed up their own list of their supporters, if one marine ever gave them so much as a fifty cent donation, they wouldn't be above acting like the entire US Marine Corps gave them millions.

People who start bragging about their supporters have an ulterior motive. Never forget that.

Does anyone have any documentation on La Raza's anti-American bias? You know I will be asked by anyone I challenge at the Marine Corp about their involvement with La Raza. From what I can tell by reading a bit on the La Raza site, they do not publish this anti American, anti-white hate...how about that?
