Thread: Miller to launch Mexican-style Beer, court Hispanics

Miller Brewing Company says it'll introduces a beer flavored with lime and salt in Latino areas next month.

Miller Chill, modeled after a popular style of Mexican beer called a "chelada," will be test marketed throughout Florida, Texas, Arizona, New Mexico and San Diego.

Pete Marino, a spokesman for the Milwaukee-based brewer, says the company hopes to eventually expand the line nationwide.

He says the low-calorie beer will compete with mainstream light beers, such as top selling Bud Light and competitor Coors Light.

Marino says it'll be priced slightly higher than Miller Lite to compete with premium beers such as Anheuser-Busch's Budweiser.

The lime green bottles feature green and silver modular designs reminiscent of Aztec art, with the word "Chill" in bold black letters across the front and "Chelada style" below.

Oh great, now driving the streets and highways of San Diego will be even more dangerous. We have enough Latino and Mexican illegal alien DUI and hit & run drivers as it is, without having to market a new beer specifically to Mexicans. And a light beer to boot, making these overly boozed Mexicans think they can get away with drinking even more. How wonderful, I guess we better get busy building more drunk tank cells and carving more headstones for the innocent victims that will surely be killed thanks to Miller.

Miller beer is soft and tasty. The best beer is Hefeweizen with lemon.

I enjoy Mad Dog...it is kind of like grape Kool Aid with a kick. I like it any way that I can get it but mostly straight out of the bag, or whenever there is no rubbing alcohol available.

If you don't know why we are discussing beer brands here, you must not have been arround during last year illegal alien marches.
