Good they are leaving. But true that they might be back. It would be hard to revoke the citizenship of anchors that have already been granted. But we should work to stop new anchors from becoming citizens. AND....we should work to change the law that allows anchors to petition their parents. If they want to come back here, they have to do so on their own. If their parents want to come here, they have to apply on their own merit. There should be no family member petitions allowed.

Good point Redpony, making sure the parents come here on their own, not the easy way. That sounds as though it is possible to get something like that passed through.
No more anchor babies, no more petitions for parents. It would be oh so obvious if the child comes back and then petitions for the parents, they were illegally here when the child was born, so then our government can just say "no, they broke the law to be here illegally when you were born".
April, yes, this complex is just the pits, maybe calling it the "armpit" of the neighborhood is appropriate, and our complain-y neighbors behind us are not helping my disposition much lately. Might be a few more months to get things moving forward, but am just looking forward to finding a spot for peace and quiet."In the beginning of a change, the Patriot is a scarce man, Brave, Hated, and Scorned. Fast-food tea parties?!
Don't forget Wendy's! "It's waaaay better than fast-food!" Well, okay, some of their prices are good because labor costs are good. Oh...but maybe that's because they hire cheap labor. So we keep going fast-food and they'll keep hiring people who are desperate for a paycheck. Darn those Catch-22s!

whereami2b, welcome to ALIPAC. Just about any shopping, services, and eating out experience, is supporting illegal aliens being here, it is almost unavoidable (buying a new house? likely an illegal alien had his/her hands in that process, hired by illegal employers).
The best anyone can do is to fight the government on amnesty and any wording in any bill that gives any kind of rewards for those who have broken our laws by coming here, or overstaying, illegally."In the beginning of a change, the Patriot is a scarce man, Brave, Hated, and Scorned.
