    Wait a minute - if they have those basins for washing feet in schools (blech), I demand to have an altar to worship or maybe singing of hymns every morning.

    How did THAT happen in schools??

    I agree. They are allowed to practice their religion wherever and whenever they want to. Everyone else-the hell with them. How does this not violate sep of church and state? Where is the ACLU on this one?

    If Christians or Jews wanted similar type things in schools-the ACLU would be all over this.

    Nicole, if the religion in question bears a sword and incites suicide bombers, "separation of church and state" does not apply.
