It will be hard to stop amnesty with Republicans alone, since they are in the minority. We need to keep after moderate Dems also.

The big question is how do we get Congress to pass mandatory e-verify without any amnesty attached? Unless Republicans increases their numbers by 50% in 2010 we will have to wait until 2012 and hope Obama gets defeated, because as long as Obama is in there it will take a 2/3rds vote to override his veto. This means a long 4 years of continuing the fight against amnesty.

Unless somebody else can see a different scenario.
