NYC Mayor Cracks Down on Illegal Gun Sales… in Arizona?

New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg pledged to strengthen control laws after the Jan. 8 Tucson shooting that left six dead and 13 injured, including Arizona Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords. But while many may have thought the mayor would carry out his illegal gun crack down in New York, Bloomberg sent some of New York’s finest to Arizona to carry out an undercover investigation, part of broader effort by Bloomberg to crack down on illegal gun sales nationwide.

According to the New York Times, Bloomberg’s undercover task force was most recently sent to the Jan. 23 Crossroads of the West gun show in Phoenix.

I thought it was illegal to send cops across state lines with out permission from the other state? Something about proper jurisdiction?

Did Taxpayers pay for this little scam/charade that Bloomberg put on? And if they did how much did this cost?
This political leftwing gungrab stunt doesnt sound like something taxpayers should have to foot the bill for.
Im also betting the cops that he sent looked like clean cut, intelligent and sane men as well hence setting off NO alarms for anyone anyways...

Something about crapping in one's own backyard comes to mind.

Bloomingidiot ought to concern himself with his own duties, in his own jurisdiction and show his muscle concerning all of the corruption in his own backyard.

This idiot does little for the image of the Big Apple. Perhaps the job is such that one idiot would wish to poke others in the eye while ignoring the log in one's own eye.
