Bloomberg is a blooming idiot! Pay no attention. He is just trying to get people to notice him. Speaking of guns...I had dinner the other night with my Irish friend. He said he thinks the smartest thing that Obama could do is to take away everyones gun. I told him he was crazy and that would never happen in this country. Any attempt would create a civil war. This conversation did point out one thing to me though...Europeans can never understand the culture that created this country and that our right to bare arms is protected by our constitution. They just don't get it and probably ever will. After all, they ARE European and very socialist at their core.

I can understand the idea to take away guns and would gladly support it in a perfect society. But simply put we're not in a perfect society or anywhere close to.

With how the US is take away guns from law abiding citizens would leave them in the criminals hands. As we cannot keep them out of criminal in the society we have created already without decades of work to reform such things all we'd be doing is promoting violence even further.

People at some point have to seperate between a logical world and a fantasy world. Right now however the liberals and socialists are living in a fantasy world that just doesn't come anywhere close to reality.
