I faxed, phoned and emailed my Rep. and Senators. Of course, McCain is the only one who has failed to state his position in spite of the will of the people. Why am I not surprised.

DREAM ACT SCAM (REP) AZ SEN MCCAIN
This is just a cheap trick for AMNESTY FOR MILLIONS! I emailed Az. Sen. McCain to say no to s. 729, this was his reply!!!! (then I added my reply to him:
Dear (mod edit):
Thank you for contacting me regarding S. 729, the Development, Relief, and Education for Alien Minors (DREAM) Act of 2009. I appreciate knowing your thoughts on this issue.
As you may know, the DREAM Act would allow the children of undocumented immigrants to apply for conditional permanent resident status if they entered the United States prior to their 16th birthday and have been present in our country for five years prior to the enactment of the legislation. It also requires that a young person meet certain eligibility requirements, including being of good moral character. No one would be eligible who is inadmissible or deportable under criminal, security, smuggling, or illegal entrant or immigration violation grounds. In order to obtain permanent status within the United States, these individuals would have to either attend college or enlist in the military.
While I recognize that the young people who would be covered under the DREAM Act entered our country as children and the decision to illegally enter was not theirs, I also know that the majority of the Arizonans that I have heard from want us to secure the border before considering immigration legislation. Until the border is secured, I do not believe Arizonans would support any efforts to reform our immigration laws.
S. 729 was introduced on March 26, 2009, and referred to the Committee on the Judiciary. Please be assured that I will keep your concerns in mind should this legislation be considered by the full Senate.
Again, thank you for contacting me. Please feel free to contact me on this or any other issue of concern.
Sincerely,
John McCain
United States Senator JM/ds
THIS IS MY REPLY TO HIM!!!!
Mr. McCain, Isn't this just an underhanded scheme to give AMNESTY to millions of "illegal immigrants", which would also open our doors to our welfare systems, and further put the tax payers under further duress? I SAY NO! NO MORE TAXES! NO MORE JOB LOSES! NO MORE UNEMPLOYMENT FOR AMERICANS! NO MORE ADDED CRIME IN AMERICA! I JUST SAY "NO MORE"
This is not up to you and you alone. The majority of Arizona has spoke, and your JOB is to speak for Arizona CITIZENS!!!
Please don't be a YES MAN for obama. We are watching you, and hope you do the right thing.

I just got this email from Senator Kay Grainger.
Sounds like the usual lip service to me.
Thank you for contacting me about the DREAM Act. I appreciate hearing from you about this issue.
Several versions of the DREAM Act have been introduced in Congress, but to date, none of these proposals have become law. As you may know, illegal immigrants in the United States are currently not eligible for federal financial student aid and are usually prohibited from receiving in-state tuition. The DREAM Act would give illegal immigrants access to in-state tuition and federal financial student aid, while putting them on the path to citizenship. The various DREAM Act proposals typically would apply to people who were under age 16 when they first entered the U.S., have lived in the U.S. for at least five years, and have a high school diploma or have been admitted to an institution of higher education in the U.S.
This is a very contentious issue, and I want you to know I understand the concerns that I have heard from my constituents and others. If DREAM Act legislation comes to the floor of the House of Representatives for a vote, I will be sure to keep your views in mind.
Again, thank you for contacting me about this issue. Please continue to keep me informed on the issues that are important to you. I also got email the other day from Kay Bailey Hutchison which made me so mad I immediately deleted it. Her opening sentence said something to the effect that she appreciated hearing my view on the Dream Act.
Then there was another long paragraph about some bill that she was asking for support for that had nada whatsoever to do with immigration or anything else that we're interested in.
By the way.....when I tried to contact all the Texas people on the ALIPAC list, a lot of the email addresses were not valid. I tried to call but mostly I was either getting a busy signal or was on some automated hold thing so long I hung up. one thing I find extremely annoying, the fact that when I contact members of Congress that represent Texas by phone or email, I can't because I'm immediately told that because I'm not from that particular district, I'm routed to whoever is representing my district. Why can't I contact ANYONE I choose to in Congress despite what District I'm from? I understand the districting concept but it makes no sense to me that they aren't willing to hear from people outside of their district.
I could be wrong but....I seem to remember that in the "good old days" one could contact whomever they chose to in Congress.

That's not reforming anything, he's just encouraging more illegal aliens to come. I can't see how he can be so stupid to think he will get more votes, they can't even legally vote.

This President does not want the Dream act to pass, that's why he said "give me this one"
For the next 2yrs. he will flood the country with IA's and before his re-election he will grant amnesty to 36million illegal aliens with more on the way each day.
And he plans on winning the 2012 election, by the same means, Reid did in Nevada. He saw it worked for Reid and believes it will work for him.
God help us, this man is deliberately trying to destroy our Nation.
I was really hoping he'd stay gone till after Christmas.Support our FIGHT AGAINST illegal immigration & Amnesty by joining our E-mail Alerts at http://eepurl.com/cktGTn
