I agree that O'Reilly is just looking for ratings now. I used to watch him fathfully but I have since changed my opinion of him as he flip flops all the time on illegal immigration, much like our congressmen are doing now.

Me too. He is another hyprocrite in my opinion. He always says that it is his job to protect the kids, and yet he hasn't taken on the killing/molestations of innocent children by illegal immigrants.
Not to mention O'Reilly suing Andrea Mackris for suing him for sexual harrasment. He quickly withdrew his law suit and paid her off when he discovered she had recorded audio evidence. He later said "I'm a stupid man". I have to agree.

And Geraldo doesn't get it.
Illegal immigration shouldn't be about race at all, but what's up with this list of people with the worst Grade Cards:

Are these Congress persons traitors?
Or are they simply really that stupid?
Perhaps they should ask India and China about all the advantages of over-population.
How long can this tiny planet support the human population growing by 249,000 per day (91 million per year)?

Why do so many politicians think we're in some sort of population race?
The world population in year 1 A.D. was about 250 million people.

The world population in year 1492 was about 500 million people.

The world population in 1804 was 1.0 billion people.

The world population in 1922 was 2.0 billion people (doubled in 118 years; increasing on average by about 23,000 per day).

The world population in 1959 was 3.0 billion people (increased by 1.0 billion in only 37 years; increasing on average by about 74,000 per day).

The world population in 2006 was 6.68 billion people (more than doubled in 47 years; increasing now by 249,000 persons per day!).

The world population by 2039 could be 13 billion (only 33 years from now; increasing by 1.1 million per day!).

In 1959, there were 12.16 acres per person (i.e. 36.48 billion acres / 3 billion people).
In 2006, there were 5.46 acres per person (i.e. 36.48 billion acres / 6.68 billion people).
By 2039, there may be only 2.81 acres per person (i.e. 36.48 billion acres / 13 billion people).

However, consider that there is only 12 million square miles (7.68 billion acres) of arable land.
And, ignore for a moment that arable land is being lost at a rate of 38,610 square miles per year.
That is, lets assume no arable land is being lost for the next 33 years. Then . . .

In 2006, there was 1.15 acres of arable land per person (i.e. 7.68 billion acres / 6.68 billion people).
By 2039, there may be only 0.59 acres of arable land per person (i.e. 7.68 billion acres / 13 billion people).

However, arable land is being lost at the rate of over 38,610 square miles (24.7 million acres) per year.
Therefore, by 2039, there may be only 0.53 acres of arable land per person (i.e. 6.865 billion acres / 13 billion people).
We'd better hope that technology helps us learn how to grow more food on less land.
At the current rate of loss of 38,610 square miles per year of arable land, and even if the population didn't grow any larger, ALL arable land could be lost in only 310 years (12 million square miles / 38,610 square miles per year)!

Sort of disturbing, eh?

Can a nation commit suicide?
Just look at history for the answer.
Many nations have risen and fallen.
Perhaps it is a cycle?

When corruption, greed, and ignorance prevail, the nation dies.

Can the majority of Americans sit idly by and watch it happen?
40% to 50% of voters don't even bother to vote.
[] Most voters are brainwashed to pull the party-lever (i.e. vote straight party ticket) without even knowing exactly whose on the ballot.
[] Most voters have abdicated their own responsibility to THEIR party.
[] Too many voters lazily demonize the OTHER party and prefer to fuel and wallow the distracting, divisive, destructive partsan warfare.
[] Too many voters think the problem is only with the OTHER party and fail to see the disturbing problems with THEIR own party.
[] It's easier to blame the OTHER party, rather than admit-to and fix problems in one's OWN party.
[] Too many voters fail to recognize that most (if not all) bought-and-paid-for politicians in Congress are about equally corrupt, FOR-SALE, and irresponsible. They prefer to emphasize our differences rather than unity. That's also a problem with the myth of diversity and a multi-lingual nation. Those that celebrate all these differences and encourage to emphasize differences overshadows and destroys any chances for unity. It's all about division. Divided voters are distracted voters, and they are then unable to ever form a majority to oust the corrupt politicians.
[] Too many voters are single-issue voters. They might like the way a politicians votes on illegal immigration, but fail to see that the same politicians is selling them out in many other ways . . . which is why the nation is in serious trouble.
[] Too many voters repeatedly reward and re-elect irresponsible incubment politicians; rewarding them with a very cu$hy 90%-to-95% re-election rate (since 1996)
[] Why is it no one can name 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, or even 268 (half of 535) in Congress that are responsible and accountable, but votes keep rewarding them with a 90%-to-95% re-election rate? Why do voters do that? Laziness. Apathy. Complacency.

But don't worry.
It can't last forever.
Americans won't be as apathetic, complacent, and disinterested when they are jobless, homeless, and hungry.
There's a natural built-in self-correction mechanism.
When will it end?
What will finally motivate enough voters to give a damn?
When will enough voters understand that government will not become responsible and accountable until the voters do too?
When it becomes too painful.
Pain and misery is a good teacher and motivator.
When the painful consequences of the voters apathy, complacency, and blind/brainwashed party loyalsim finally becomes too painful.
Unfortunately, by the time that enough voters finally have the pain and misery to motivate them to give a damn, it is too late.
