"Changing Phoenix police's immigration-enforcement policies will create a climate of fear in Phoenix that could lead to multimillion-dollar lawsuits and even riots, speakers said Thursday at a raucous town hall.
There will be some lawsuits, but there won't be any riots. It seems that whenever state/local governments even threaten to enforce the law, illegals run like hell.

What??????? Did you read the same article that was posted here??? They were NOT given an opportunity to speak and voice their opinions----only those who were against the new policies were allowed to speak!!!

I read paragraph four (4), which spoke of "several anti-illegal immigration foes forcibly removed from the auditorium" after they "shouted at the stage" and recited the "Pledge of Allegiance" during opening remarks by a county spokeswomen. It would be difficult to come up with actions much ruder, more unprovoked, or more unnecessary than these. The "Pledge of Allegiance" is certainly "patriotic", but not when a forum moderator is speaking and trying to begin the meeting in a civil manner!

Current officials are governing by trying intimidation.......

I didn't post the entire article, just a few paragraphs. Click on the link.

PLUS.......how many times have the illegal invaders and their supporters disrupted speakers, etc. and NOTHING was done to them????

There have been instances where anti-illegal speakers have been forced to leave the stage---and not able to speak----due to illegals and their supporters throwing things and rushing the stage. Nothing was done to them!!!

However, you think that these people are wrong because they are finally FORCING their voices to be heard in regard to potential policy regarding the illegals----who should have NO SAY SO in this matter.

We need to hit every person one way or the other (street, TV, radio, etc.).. We are the voice, we need to be heard as well.. make posters, business cards, anything, everything.. Make your voice heard as well. Thanks William, but this is larger then a Fox photo shot.. Now is the time!

    Perhaps you missed this paragraph!!

"Members of the mostly Hispanic audience leaped to their feet throughout the evening in support of various comments made by speakers. When protesters began shouting, audience members drowned them out with a chant of "Si, se puede," or "Yes, it is possible."
