Poll: Trump still leads Fiorina, Bush, Rubio combined
10/10/15
By Rudy Takala
In the race for the Republican presidential nomination, a new Reuters poll finds Donald Trump still leads Carly Fiorina, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush — combined.
The poll found Trump, who is number one in the Washington Examiner's presidential power rankings, continues to hold his significant lead, with 29 percent of Republican voters saying they favor him. He is followed by Ben Carson, who held 18 percent support; Bush at 10 percent; Rubio at 8 percent; and Fiorina at 6 percent.
Despite Trump's significant lead, members of the media have remained undeterred in their speculation on when Trump will exit the race. The New York Times reported on Friday that "leading national Republicans" believe "Mr. Trump will look for a face-saving way out at some point."
The next Republican debate is being hosted by CNBC and is scheduled to take place on Oct. 28. Candidates who average less than 2.5 percent in recent polls will be relegated to a B-list debate before the main event.
Qualification for the main event is based on an average of several polls, but the contenders polling at that level in this Reuters poll include: Ohio Gov. John Kasich (2 percent); Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal (1.6 percent); South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham (.6 percent); former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum (.3 percent); former New York Gov. George Pataki (0.1 percent); and former Virginia Gov. Jim Gilmore, who doesn't register.

And he's in it to win, he's not going anywhere, he's never leaving this race, they'll have to pry him out of the Cleveland Convention Hall if they don't want him to win. He's going to be on every ballot in every state, and I believe at the end of the day, he'll win the vast majority, if not every one of them.
