Well I've been looking for part time work on and off for over
seven months. Whenever the local school board has job postings
I apply. I am ALWAYS over qualified but do so anyway since I have
experience doing secretarial -receptionist work. I have NEVER gotten
a call back.

The other day I visit the local office in regards to another issue
and see why. See the jobs posted never said must be bilingual but
once I entered the office I could see that indeed was the prerequisite.
EVERY person in the office was Hispanic. I can't say I was shocked. This
is after all California but I did feel frustrated and like a second class
citizen. Here I am in my own country
born raised and educated and can't even get a job answering the local
school's phone?

I tell ya. Can't wait to leave this hell hole.

P.S. A little off topic. My daughter attends the local school which is over
89% Hispanic. Needless to say these people stare at her (ESPECIALLY the baby making mothers who have nothing to do all day but hang at the
school sitting on the benches outside)
and the other American children like what the hell are you at OUR school for? My frustration is so wide and deep with this issue. It's like we don't belong in our own country. It's like WE need to be gone already. SMH.

Just my vent for today. Thanks.
