I am going to chime in here,

I have been researching the possibility of doing a similar event here in California. We have sutters fort state park where they fly an actual current mexican government flag supplied every year by the mex gov on the flagpole inside the fort. The American flag is displayed, but only as they do every state park or state property. I wanted to do an event there that would highlight the favoritism being granted the mexican lobby, and include pro and con speakers and a debate on removing it in favor of the American flag.
They allow events to be held, but as in most bureaucratic conspiracies, you must jump through many hoops, one being insurance.
I'm trying to arrange that and keep pressing it forward
It will not be enough to send a letter. We will have to march on washington and dictate terms in the white house

all these states that want to lobby Mexico should be denied a seat in Congress and federal funding -- then they can "choose this day whom they will serve" because they can't have 2 masters. They can either uphold their oath to 'preserve, protect and defend' the Constitution or else, because under the Constitution there is no allegiance to a foreign power

    Tex,

I did a protest in Ft. Worth but I know I don't have enough pull or resources to get one going at the Alamo. You need someone on the ground there that is willing to stand up and be unrelenting. Also, there is an extreemly high number of Hispanics living in SA and the rest of the population may be afraid to stand up.

I face that same probelm here. People will talk all day long and never stick their necks out. They feal threatened. I will not even fly my flag on my house because I'm afraid of a drive-by.

The Republicans have a state wide convention there. Find out when that is and hold it at the same time. You might get some of them coming over to help out. I'm sure the SA visitors bureau will know and it will be before the Nov. election.
