Some who immigrated here never learned English, usually the elderly immigrants. There are many instances of that, whether Italian, German or whatever. Today for example elderly Russian immigratns often aren't bothering to learn English.

However usually the younger immigrants become bi-lingual, and those born in America only speak English. Therefore any attempt to mandate teaching Spanish to those born in America is a mistake. However with all these illegals poring over the border, most of whom don't speak English, the demand for Spanish is still very strong.

In regard to poor border security I was just reading about very advanced infared radar that's installed on helicopters to pick out people on the ground in day or night. Why isn't that being used for better border security?

Americans are fed up with business and agricultural interests dictating the legislative agenda and prohibiting better border security.

I've never seen anything more disgusting in my life than what is trying to be pulled off in this country. Growing up I never would have expected this in our country, where the legal citizens are literally silenced. NEVER.
Don't say, "Well, we're not silenced because we can talk" The purpose of talking is to be heard.

Some of the VERY people in Washington, people who we are supposed to be able to believe in and trust (even if we disagree with them on some things) have become dangerous enemies to the American people.

As sorry as I am that the woman Irma was sick and died she was still a criminal who was breaking the law. They didn't seem to take that into account or what she was costing to American tax payers, most of whom may not be able to get the same free medical care that she was. Or the amount of Americans killed by illegal aliens.

Did anyone else notice that her husband Gabe Sr. was driving a recent model red Ford Mustang? That's not an inexpensive car. And his son was getting a taxpayer funded scholarship.

And the "28 year old single mother from Mexico" Rosa was driving a recent model white Ford Escort? While that isn't nearly as expensive a car as a Mustang someone who is truly poor either couldn't afford to drive a car at all or would only be able to drive an older used car. She also seemed to have thousands of dollars to give to smugglers. Now come to think of it her boyfriend also was driving a Dodge Ram which is an expensive truck when they were in Texas trying to get her kids illegaly brought over from Mexico by the smugglers using fake documents (her home in Mexico didn't look too poor).

Rosas situation was a sick joke and I feel nothing for her situation. For all the time and money she spent she could have spent those resources becoming a legal citizen rather then trying to cheat the system and then try to make us all feel sorry for her for doing it. How many of us legal citizens can come up with $5,000 - $6,000 every other year or so?? What legal citizen didnt get a job because of her that could have used that money? Did she pay any taxes or was all that money tax free and if not then that means all of us legal citizens helped to pay for her illegal activities? Also, why is it our problem that she had sex which resulted in 2 kids that our nation in turn pays for her to bring over illegaly and then pay for their education, medical care, social services, tax breaks, etc..etc..etc..????

I have met hundreds of immigrants from other nationalities and not one to date from countries that were not HISPANIC that did not at least try to have a working knowledge of English. I have met people from Luxembourg, Sweden, Finland, Portugal, Spain, Russia, Ukraine, Japan, Korea, China, etc..etc..etc.. none that insulted me with "you should learn my language" attitude. Some elderly do have trouble learning a new language but at least other countries are not deliberately, that I have ever seen, insulting about it. I have ONLY had Hispanics tell me "you should learn Spanish".. and usually with a very arrogant attitude to go with it.

Great idea but it would be an utter waste. We made prostitution illegal even though its sex between 2 consentual adults (mostly anyways) but we made having litters of kids legal.. how ironic. The problem with your idea is that having kids when your a prostitute would be bad for business.. having kids when your illegal alien is good for business, bottom line, illegals would not use birth control. The other problem is that in the Hispanic culture birth control by many is frowned on due to religious reasons and having large families is smiled on in their culture. Ever notice how the average Hispanic family has 3 or more kids where the typical white family can only afford 1-2 kids.

I fully believe that through a subversive effort the Hispanic population intends to outnumber us through immigration (legal and illegal) and reproduction. Based on the recent population surveys their reproduction rate is actually HIGHER then their immigration numbers. In a democratic system the best way to overtake our country is by sheer numbers and the subversive use of our mainstream media through politicaly correct propaganda. When was the last time we have ever seen their reproduction rates on ANY news channel? I cant think of a single one. Ever notice how sex is always a top priority for almost any Hispanic male? A COPS show had a cop questioning a Hispanic gang member, his comment, "we dont die, we multiply". The last teenage pregnancy news related broadcast I saw never even mentioned anything child births from illegals or any real numbers from any ethnicity group. Ever wonder why??

Bottom line, you could give away birth control until your blue in the face.. they would just throw it out as it would be completely against their cause, and for many, their profession as baby makers so they can outnumber us or just to have kids so they can stay here in the USA due to our loophole in the immigration laws.

I would say automatic neutering of any illegal immigrant. Far cheaper then feeding 3-6 more mouths just so those new mouths can be baby machines in the endless chain.

You can't sterilize them permanently against their will. That would be a human rights violation and the international community would side with the illegals on that.

"The Shot" is a great way to temporarily prevent female illegals from getting pregnant though. A shot once every 3 months thats 99.7% effective. Since it's temporary I don't think it would be a violation of human rights.

I dont watch TV except Nuggets and Broncos. And the only newspaper stories i read are the ocassional story I see on line as I head for the sports section.

Here is another idea then.. if they have kids they have NO RIGHTS TO ANY MEDICAL SERVICES OF ANY KIND WITHOUT LEGAL DOCUMENTATION. Hell, we get questioned if we have insurance or if we can pay or not if we are legal citizens.. whats going on with the illegals I wonder??

Personaly I could really give a rats ass about their human rights.. if other countries dont like it.. THEY CAN PAY FOR THE LITTERS OF KIDS THEY HAVE.
