You are familiar with the "Iron Curtain" aren't you?

Reagan tore that wall down in Berlin in the midst of the Cold War.

The "Tortilla Curtain" is something that was created in the midst of the global war on terror. Parallel was drawn out of that. Terrorist have dictated our policies via the wall and via the Patriot Act.

Having grown up during the latter period of the Cold War, I am familiar with the term Iron Curtain. That's why I'm puzzled by the parallel you are trying to draw. Wikipedia defines the Iron Curtain as:

"The "Iron Curtain" is a Western term made famous by Winston Churchill referring to the boundary which symbolically, ideologically, and physically divided Europe into two separate areas from the end of World War II until the end of the Cold War, roughly 1945 to 1990." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iron_Curtain

I'm not familiar with any such boundary between the USA and our southern neighbor, Mexico, but maybe I'm just not understanding what you're trying to say. Could you elaborate on this, "Tortilla Curtain," concept? I've never heard it before. Also, what, "wall," are you referring to that terrorists have dictated our policies about?

The only, "Tortilla Curtain," I come up with when I Google the term is some pro-illegal screed.

    DD,

Right here in a discussion about your group trying to get SaveOurState.org knocked off the internet because you don't like some of the posts there.

The first thing I noticed is that your move was to censure and destroy them instead of debate them. Not very 1st amend of the Constitution that you so gloriously praised here in your first posts.

Then you go on to talk about part of your mission being

We have to outwit these snakes.........we can do it. I believe this and I will never give up until I die.

    I promise you.

P.S. We don't fight with violence, we fight using the laws. When people act maliciously, they will end up hanging themselves.......so we are giving them rope and more rope to hang themselves.......we continue to watch them and wait for them to slip and then we 'record the slip'
Now please point out to me where any prior civil rights movement acted in this fashion? Where did Martin Luther King ever advocate the abridgement of someone elses 1st amendment rights, hanging people, or recording slips?

Then you go on to say that you want to stay above the fray while the Brown Berets take care of your dirty work to appear to be above such things. Yet you announce their presence against our people on the streets.

Ceyaotl???? Where you at? Tell us your thoughts, this is my opinion, what is yours?

Dealing with thugs, racists, pettiness is going to go on....like Ceyaotl said, the brown berets are on their way.....they will make their presence known and WE SHOULD focus on laws and legislation and RESOLUTIONS from a civil stand point.
This statement to me is the same as saying "The KKK are on their way... they will make their presence known (wink wink, translation: violence) and we should focus on laws and legislation....."

How dare you DD. Just who in the hell do you think you are?

Your board is filled with people from the Mexica, Aztlan, and BrownPride.com hate groups. You snuggle up on our site talking about tricking and deceiving people, silencing debate, and deploying street muscle for your dirty work.

Not a very nice image at all DD and I feel very certain, since I am a Republican, that the Republic Party would not welcome your associations and advocates on your board.

I'm going to have to ask our activists here to go to your boards to identify and document more abuses such as these and we will be issuing a full report to the national and local Republican organizations to point out what is going on over at LatinoRepublicans.COM

Your tolerance of and support of radical racist groups and violence and censorship as tactics could earn you a spot on the hate group list very rapidly.

We do not allow such conduct here DD. Anyone that advocates violence, racism, or underhanded tactics is immediately removed when discovered.

How dare you try to deprive AMERICANS of their civil rights by trying to tear down websites and encourage violence and deception against Americans.

If we found so much in just one thread on your site, I wonder what else our activists will find.

Each comment quoted above is right here in this thread.

I'm not defending any comments by anyone on another board.

What I'm saying is that in America it is not against the law to make racist comments.

It is against the law to try and deprive someone else of their civil rights protected by the US Constitution.

Trying to pull a website off the web and advocating extremist racist groups like the Brown Berets move into position to attack people is a violation of civil rights.

How can you both simultaneously stand against violations of the Constitution, and decry racism and violence and then advocate racism, violence and deprivation of Constitutional rights.

You are on the wrong side of the issue with illegal immigration.

If you truly value America's Republic then you should be standing with us instead. The side you stand with stands for the violation of our laws and our entire form of governance since laws already in existence, that are supported by a clear majority, are being ignored and abused.

Much more of that and we will have a lawless gang and corporation dominated hell hole here just like the areas many illegal aliens are fleeing.

The pay will be about the same as well.
