Police use profiling all of the time, in investigating other crimes. It is one of the main tools of detectives and investigators. So banning all profiling will pretty much wipe out law enforcement. What they are really saying is that they don't want "minorities" prosecuted because it is not P.C.

End Racial Profiling: President Obama and Vice President Biden will ban racial profiling by federal law enforcement agencies and provide federal incentives to state and local police departments to prohibit the practice.

Here's an idea. Why not fire all white cops and then only have latino, black and asian cops? That should eliminate "racial profiling" no? No, wait...that would be racial profiling wouldn't it?

Expand Hate Crimes Statutes: In 2004, crimes against LGBT Americans constituted the third-highest category of hate crime reported and made up more than 15 percent of such crimes. President Obama cosponsored legislation that would expand federal jurisdiction to include violent hate crimes perpetrated because of race, color, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, or physical disability. As a state senator, President Obama passed tough legislation that made hate crimes and conspiracy to commit them against the law.

OK so this this include nonwhite crime against whites if the expressions "cracker", "whitey", "honky", "go back to Europe" , etc. are uttered by a non-white assailant? I think this is a stupid "statute" as all crime is a hate crime duh!

This truly is a concern in relation to law enforcement.

Wouldn't this be a type of federal "bribery" to encourage them to have a "hands off" approach to Latinos and others of color, and to not enforce laws that would identify illegal aliens or other criminals.
