    The "Real" Motive?

I am beginning to believe that Bush granted the commutation to Scooter Libby as a diversionary tactic. We know how devious he is. He (and his advisors) had to know the controversy this would incite. Now, he's "considering" granting a full pardon.

Better to focus on this (and the deserving attention to the border patrol agents), than the "real" objectives of Bush and the corporate elites, such as the NAFTA Superhighway and NAU.

I just bet they try to ride this pony 'til he drops.

BTW, I saw a reporter interviewing "average" citizens on the streets today to get their opinion of the Scooter Libby commute. I would estimate at least 8 out of 10 didn't even know who he is!

I thought I was watching 'Jay Walking' on Leno. How pathetic.

Yeah, he doesn't get much coverage in the celebrity mags. Has anyone noticed that fluff magazines outnumber news mags 20 to 1 at the grocery check out? You have to dig for a news mag.

That's precisely what they expect....ignorance. Keep the public focused on triviality, while they methodically destroy this country.

I agree - isn't it funny that the Senate vote was on the same day Paris Hilton got out of jail? I remember the last vote had some big news story break around the same time as well, oh wait - I think it was Bush vetoed the Congress' war bill or something.

How interesting, so many distracting coincedences!

But about Scooter Libby, I wish I could care but I just don't really. I'll let other Americans duke it out on that issue.
