Again, the immigration debate was IGNORED!!!

Yes, of course MSNBC is main stream media. They do not want the spot light on immigration OR anyone who wants to talk about it. I was sickened by McCain! What a disgusting man! Tom did get the PARDON Ramos and Compean in. That man does have spirit! Gotta love Tom!

I was sickened by McCain also! ...but at the same time you could see him almost BEG for a vote....FORGET IT MCCAIN...YOU ARE HISTORY!!! I don't care how much media attention you get...YOU are a betrayer of the people and I will NEVER vote for you...for any reason!!

Hi I am new hear and I was wondering why the media ignores the facts of this crises?

I was very proud of Tom, every chance he got to speak , he did very well and represented the people unwaveringly. He is a man of his word and stands by it. I will be calling him as well. He has my absolute support! McCain is disgusting. He represents everything we need NOT to have in the white house!

John McCain will never be President you don't have to worry about that. Remember he was a POW for five and a half years for this country.

Why? - This is all my opinion, but I'd boil it down to something like this:

Basically, the MSM (Mainstream Media) tends to 'shelve' issues related to illegal immigration because to do otherwise would jeopardize profits margins
gained by the advantage of [illegal] but cheap labor. Of course, political concerns - not just economic ones - also play their part. In the end, it's all about the $$$.

Again, just my oversimplified explanation ( )

I have to admit, that the issue of American jobs went pretty much unmentioned until Duncan Hunter hammered the topic into an answer on another question. I was also impressed by the fact that he raised the issue of unfair trade practices vis-a-vis PRC (China) and how our tax (import/export) structure puts our industries at a disadvantage and how it favors importing nations.

Thanks Mr. Hunter - someone remembered the American worker for once.
