Did Tancredo vote FOR and AGAINST this increase in H1B visas???
    Bootsie:

At your covenience, please review the thread entitled "Rep. Tancredo's Comprehensive Immigration Reform Legislation". I would enjoy reading your comments about the bill after you have had occasion to review that thread. I also will be starting a thread with a post that contains an article answers to ten questions about Cong. Tancredo's H.R. 1333. I mistakenly thought (until writing this post) that was the article I had posted in the thread entitled "Rep. Tancredo's Comprehensive Immigration Reform Legislation". Both articles, though, are excellent. The article containing the answers to the ten questions is a follow-up article to the one I have already posted. Additionally, I will be posting another article that is a follow-up article to the one answering the ten questions.

Cong. Tancredo's bill is nothing like the McCain/Kennedy and Cornyn/Kyle bills. Both of those bills will increase the number of guest workers in the United States. Cong. Tancredo's bill will severely reduce the number of guest workers in the United States.

I don't believe the members of the United States House of Representatives have had an opportunity to vote on the increase in H-1B visas. Cong. Tancredo would certainly vote against such an increase. He has introduced a bill, H.R. 1325, that would eliminate H-1B visas. I will post a copy of the bill in this forum.

    Thank you.

    Judy:

I should clarify something I just posted concerning the elimination of H-1B visas. Both H.R. 3333 and H.R. 1325 eliminate H-1B visas. However, H.R. 3333 is a comprehensive immimgration reform plan, while H.R. 1325 accomplishes just one thing, the elimination of H-1B visas.
