Thanks for the laws in Section 8. I just sent that to are two largest newspapers in town asking them to report on how our Federal and State governments are breaking the laws.

I join a credit union and moved everything there.

Someone mentioned here at some point that Sun Trust didn't aid and abet illegals but I don't know.

Soooo! The illegals are residents now. How nice!!!

Well, in the socialist mind at least. Here's how it went for me.

This city spent money on a thing called a Center for Health Equity targeting downtrodden residents.

Dear Mayor Abramson,

Please define "residents" as used for this project. Are you referring only to individuals legally in this country? Is there any initiative in Metro government to require employers to supply health care benefits? I am concerned about businesses that use cheap labor shifting their costs to the taxpayers.

Mayor Abramson asked that I forward his response.

Dear Mayor Abramson,

I'm quite disappointed that there is no distinction for you between "resident" and "citizen." A resident could be just any person living here for a while and even include illegal aliens. Citizens would be native or naturalized persons who owe allegiance to a government and are entitled to protection from that government. I believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to live a healthy life, but I don't believe it's the responsibility of Metro Government citizens to provide that for the billions of persons that inhabit the Earth should they all invade the US border. Will the Center be supplying services to illegal aliens, or will it limit my liability to lawful citizens?

And I never heard from him again. I expected that since his salutation ended with a full colon after my name. But he'll be asking for my vote.

I contacted Gov Easley when a crowd of workers fled a gov
construction project at Carter-Finley Stadium where NCSU
plays. The workers fled when state troopers came to arrest a
couple of illegals for a criminal violation. They coaxed the workers
back onto the worksite with bullhorns. I asked the guvna
how so many people could run from the police in a post-9/11
world. I got the same kind of response from Miss Kelley.

I remember when Easley was a tough prosecutor down in
Brunswick County. I cannot understand how the dems can
undercut one of their core support groups = labor.

I voted for Mike once, heck even picked him up at the local airport and took him home. Well if he comes back "home" he need not run for any local office to include dog catcher, cause I can't think of anyone we are more disappointed with. He has truly failed his fellow Carolinians. Must be the lawyer in him.

There is a payback for abandoning the party for Reagan. Union membership of legal American workers is way down. Not much of a vote delivering power base anymore. These new darlings of labor respond well to handlers, and having nothing, can be satisfied with little. Unions have been just negotiating American workers layoffs for years. Things ain't what they used to be. Take a close look at the dems leaders.
