A Beat-up, Exhausted, and Terrified Republican Establishment

Yet the Republican class in charge seems ossified in its inability to make a counter-argument for the middle class. Never has the liberal agenda been so vulnerable, a logical development when bad ideas have had five years to prove themselves as very bad ideas. When Obama is all done he will have taken high presidential popularity ratings, a supermajority in the Senate, and a large margin in the House and lost them all — if only the Republicans can make an adequate case that they represent the middle class, the Democrats only the very wealthy and the very dependent.

Boehner Killed Amnesty for 2014? Not A Chance – Insiders Say It’s Still On Track

A U.S. Chamber of Commerce source told Top Right News that Boehner is just letting things “cool off” after a contentious immigration retreat, and that there is plenty of time to introduce the “piecemeal” approach already planned to get to a Senate “conference” compromise bill. The original plan still in place to ram through amnesty after the Tea Party threat in the GOP primaries is over.

And a Hill staffer told The Daily Caller that “he expects Boehner and the business groups to focus opponents on the issue of trust — and then suddenly disarm them with a dramatic but meaningless announcement by the president.

Georgia Republican Calls Out the RINO’s

Many of you, like me, are getting tired of watching the Republican Party lay down for the liberals across the aisle time and time again.

Backlash against immigration plan floods Boehner’s website

When House Speaker John A. Boehner posted online the GOP’s new immigration principles, including legalizing most illegal immigrants, he allowed comments. And they are brutal.

An informal count of 100 responses Friday morning that took a position showed 97 opposed to the principles and to Mr. Boehner, and just three that seemed supportive to varying degrees.

H2 Note: The ONLY reason Barack Obama was reelected is because the globalist wing of the Republican Party REFUSED to nominate a true Conservative, instead nominating an insider elitist who after the election stated he did not really want to run in the first place. There are ZERO indications the Republicans intend to nominate a true fiscal and moral Conservative who has genuine best interests for America and the average American yet again, and in 2016 Hillary Clinton stands a better-than-ever chance of becoming your next president.

See: Poll: 71% of Obama voters, 55% Democrats 'regret' voting for his re-election

Smoking Out RINOs: The Much Needed Political Realignment

The most recent major betrayal, which unmasked phony GOP “conservatism” and revealed the ugly inner workings of the party, was the effort, in collaboration with the Democrats, to give Barack Obama a blank check for the federal budget during the next fourteen months, with no conditions or limitations on his ability to continue squandering the nation’s financial resources. In the strictest sense, this outrage could be called a “bipartisan” sellout of the American people, with twelve Republicans scheming in concert with the Democrats to make it happen.

McCain: ‘Hate to Admit It,’ But Hillary Would Win Presidential Election if Held Tomorrow

“I would bet, my friend, as much as I hate to admit it, that right now — this is why we have campaigns — if the election were tomorrow, Hillary Clinton would most likely be president of the United States,” McCain told CNN on Thursday.

On CNN, McCain Prods GOP Leaders on Immigration - 'Time to Bear Pressure On GOP'

"We have the broadest coalition of support of any legislation I've ever been involved in. Big business, small business, evangelicals, the Catholic Church. The list goes on and on. It's time for those people to weigh in and bring pressure to bear and say, "Look, we need to act."

Roll Call whip count: 19 Republicans support leadership’s immigration principles

Given the number of Republicans who declined to answer or wouldn’t give a binary response, it’s possible Republicans see support for the broadly worded principles as a proxy for supporting an immigration overhaul this year. But with such a seeming dearth of support, the likelihood Republicans could move legislation — in this Congress or the next — seems bleak…

Bachmann warns against Clinton presidency; challenges GOP on immigration

“We will have a woman for president of the United States,” Bachmann, the Minnesota congresswoman and 2012 GOP presidential hopeful, told a crowd of several hundred Republican supporters gathered in Bethalto. “It just has to be the right woman. People think Hillary Rodham Clinton is already crowned queen as president ... (but) she’s got a couple of questions to answer.”
