I disagree. While the header may be misleading, there is no evidence to suggest that anyone was purposely attempting to deceive anyone.

While the motive of the author cannot be established with certainty at the moment, the effect of this post is clear. It gives the impression that Ron Paul is a viable or electable candidate and thus can cause those who might have voted for Romney to switch to Paul. This of course aids McCain.

Remember that many not-so-careful voters are more the rule than the exception, and many of them will fall for this misleading distortion/deception. Not everybody reads the whole thread, you know. They just see the headline or just the first few posts in the thread.

Defend truthful reports rather than disinformation.

In the interest of factual reporting, the name of this thread should be changed to

Ron Paul is leading in Eleven States in the Yahoo Buzz, an Unscientific Poll

The whole truth should be told. Fragments of the truth distort the whole truth. That is why oaths are taken affirming the intention to tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

With all respect to William, a post that clearly distorts the truth is inherently disrespectful. At the very least, the Headline of the thread should be changed as I have indicated.
