If you look at it closely, you will see that a majority of whites are complacent and do not vote. They talk, complain, and whine...but they do not go to the polls. They do not exercise their right to vote.

The other minority groups are proud of their vote, use their vote, push to register their members to vote.

The minorities are approaching the majority. Hispanics, if the numbers were accurate, would be the majority, especially when they are all given Amnesty. Why do you think the candidates pander to them.

Blacks, especially in Southern states, will always vote black. That is why the republicans are so thrilled with BO. Blacks congregate and register to vote. At church, they talk about their group vote. The young and old vote. They have not had the vote long and appreciate it.

Hillary and BO did not campaign to whites in the Southern States... they went into the Black community. Whites did not count. They went were the voters are.

Look at CA, they pander to Hispanics there.

Did you see Jay Leno interview folks on the street, showing them pictures of past presidents, and current politicians? Black or white they did not even recognize any of them. They did not know their names! These folks do not vote. I guess they don't read the paper or watch the news either. This is the reality. But I can tell you that almost any black know who Barrack Obama is.

Jay said, "You will get the Government you deserve." Shook his head, in disbelief.

Everyone? No, not everyone. The only people who listen to these talk radio shows are the hardcore Republicans which are a minority in the party. This same minority was the one that stopped CIR from getting through.
Wrong! It was NOT a minority of Republicans -- it was the majority of "We The People" who shut down the senate switchboards and killed the shamnesty bill. Make no mistake -- WE WILL DO IT AGAIN!!!

Many of us are wondering the same thing.

In Calif. because of the dislike of Bush, many republicans re-registered as independents and now weren't allowed to vote in the primary for a republican because it was a closed election for the republicans... But independents were allowed to vote for a democrat...I think that this may have hurt Romney big time...I talked to several former republicans say they wished they could have voted for Romney!

umm.. because not all republicans are Rush/Hannity lapdogs?

McCain has a very strong centrist/moderate appeal and most people are centrist/moderates.
umm...When the most conservative people in the country declare their support for Hillary because she is more conservative than McCain then that would indicate that McCain is a RHINO with a strong left/extreme appeal. Ann Coulter, Pat Buchanan and others have declared their support for Hillary and if that doesn't speak volumes about McCain then
you're being hoodwinked by the mainstream media.

As a lifelong Republican from the South who is very fiscally conservative, hates big Government, and is socially a bit more moderate than a hardcore social conservative I can assure you that I wouldn't vote for John McCain if my life depended on it and that is based on nothing more than his horrific record, the people that he has chosen as campaign advisors (downright scary), and some of his biggest contributors, ie, Univision. The fact that he was part of the Keating 5 in the S&L scandal doesn't sit too well with me either. He is also way too hawkish and I believe would go to war with Iran in a heartbeat. Furthermore, he almost switched to the Democratic party in 2001 so what does that tell you?

On this subject I agree with Pat and Ann. Hillary is the most conservative choice of the big 3.

I worked the polls yesterday handing out info exactly 100ft from the front door (as required by law).

    After talking to the voters:
    1. They are clueless about the actual stances or record of the candidates.
    2. They believe that McCain is an honest Straight Talker. UGH....

    There you go.

Yes-unfortunately a lot of people do not think for themselves or really educate themselves. They rely on th MSM to educate them and that is the problem.

Sorry to inform you but I am not a hardcore Republican and I listen to talk radio as it is the one of the few places to get the REAL story since the mainstream media only tells us what they want us to hear.

The minority stopped CIR? Are you nuts? 80% of the country is against CIR and amnesty. Normally we're what you would call the silent MAJORITY. Since we're at work all day paying taxes so that illegal aliens can enjoy our country and the benefits that come with citizenship, we can't protest in the streets demanding entitlements from the taxpayers like illegals do. But of we get pushed around enough we will make our voice heard. Which is exactly what we did and will continue to do in the future.

CIR has awoken the sleeping giant in this country which is the usually silent MAJORITY.
