So, tell me, does it make future aliens more illegal than the millions who are already here illegally? Chuckie, you can't change the lipstick on this pig!

Re: Schumer's Marketing Lesson for 'Comprehensive Reform'

Operational control of our borders, through significant additional increases in infrastructure, technology and border personnel must be achieved within a year of enactment.

A employment verification system with tough enforcement and auditing is necessary to significantly diminish the job magnet that attracts illegal aliens to the United States and to provide certainty and simplicity for employers.
They promised exactly the same thing 23 years ago!!!

    It never happened!!!!

Democrats controlled Congress in 1986 and are responsible for the amnesty bill, but yes Reagan signed the bill believing Fat Teddy's lie that "we will secure the border henceforth". Of course soon thereafter Teddy slipped through buried legislation making is a Civil Rights violation to ask a job applicants immigration status. That is why years later Reagan said signing the amnesty bill "Was my biggest mistake".

In 1986 it was the Democratic majority in the House and the Select Commission on Immigration and Refugee Policy that were the big advocates of the amnesty for long-settled illegal immigrants. I believe the definition of "long-settled" was five years. Today, just like then, it's mainly the Democrats that are the big movers and shakers behind the amnesty plan.

I'm just glad a large majority of the Republicans in the U.S. Congress don't support amnesty. Without them (majority of Republicans), we wouldn't have a chance because we could never turn enough Democrats to make a difference if the Republicans were divided on the issue.

How about the Rinos . Do you think they won't vote for Amnesty.? I think Amnesty will pass this year, if we don't get off our asses and do something about it.
