We really have to vote out the Reps and Dems who are for this travesty legislation. We have to single out the losers and the traitors, not the entire party.

If we had enough Dems in which they didn't have to worry about Rep resistance, illegals would have been given amnesty last year w/ S. 2611.
MW is right, we have to single out the traitors and vote them out, not the entire party.

First off, I don't want to think negatively about this Shamnesty Bill passing. I want to think positively about it never being brought up for a vote. A No vote on Cloture is the only answer.

If, God forbid, this travesty does become law, then we have to convince the Conservative wing of the Repub party to cut their ties and switch to a third party. It could even be called the Conservative Party. And there's always the Constitution Party already in place for us to check out.

What the arrogant senate has done by their stupidity has given all of us a re-education in political science. We're now American lobbyists and we have a lot of clout. Because of their stupdity, we've found each other right here at alipac and hundreds of other forums.

With the help of Alipac, Numbersusa, Fair, and all those others, and talk radio - millions of us are united and I have confidence that they will guide and help us in whatever we need to do to move forward.

What we need to do in all elections - local, state, and federal - from here on out is PAY attention to who is running in every state in the Union and use our clout to influence those elections. This will involve our time, our money, and our dedication. We may even have to run in those elections ourselves. See alipac's previous thread on just this topic.

Keep in mind that we're still the majority here and no matter what happens, NO ONE IS GOING TO TAKE OUR COUNTRY AWAY FROM US! EVER!

Even if it did get passed by the Senate, it would still have to get passed by the House, which from what I've read is fairly unlikely. But then again, who knows with politicians? That's why we have to stop this horrible thing in the Senate.!! I hope everyone reading this is calling their Senators!

you want to bet I can't blame the whole republican party for this one?

    please.

MOST of the republican party is behind this bill, or refuses to kill it outright. MOST republican senators are selling us out, either overtly or covertly. you want to keep that around?

yes there are a few good strong patriots who still inhabit that party, but the % is miniscule. if we could kill the republican party, those good ones would move to the new conservative party we create (or to the constitution party we might join).

you failed to address the fact that if the republicans allow this devastating bill to pass, they are no different than the dems, and we the people are in the same position either way.

if you try to cherry pick, you'll get the same result as we've always gotten. IGNORED and SCREWED.

Next election vote out all of the RINO's (Republican in Name Only). King George is the master RINO and fortunately his time of ruling is quickly coming to an end.

The sellout Reps (RINO) who are behind this bill are no better, that's for sure.
But using the strategy you speak of will cause more harm than good. Case in point, consider who the new speaker of the house is.

In the bigger picture here, we really do need to vote out all the incumbents and newbies who have sold us out, regardless of party affiliation.

I beg to differ, invadersgetout. The majority of Republicans in the U.S. Congress do not support amnesty! What do you base such an assessement on? As sippy said, the only reason we're still in this battle is because of the many Republicans that have sided with us. Without them, the Democrats would have already had their way (S. 2611).

Start Funding Replacements for the Sellouts

The Republicans in the House for the most part oppose Amnesty. We just have some high-minded corrupt senators who think that they can turn their backs on their constituents without consequences while they and their families get nice little perks from special interests and lobbyists.

And then we have the Democrats. If those, who are angry about this on both sides of the aisle were to change their party affiliation to Independent, not later, but now, it would send a shock wave through both parties.

Quit drinking the conservative and the liberal kool-aid. We're Americans first.
