Is Kyl daft ot what? He seems to think that just a photo on an ID is enough to verify identification of a worker. Grassley wants a fingerprint, and Kyl is objecting to Grassley's amendment.

Kyl is Kennedy regarding this amnesty bill. One and the same.

Kennedy is actually admitting that there are several glitches in the system (the system proposed in the Amnesty Bill) but then he goes on and trashes Grassley's amendment.

Kennedy is very worried about how the illegal alien workers will be treated. Of course he says nothing about how those workers afect American workers.

What I really think, (maybe I'm being too simple for these rockheads in the Senate), is that we all need to have a tamper proof Social Security card. We all have to have one anyway. Unless you're a felon, you shouldn't mind having a photo and a fingerprint on it. This card could be used for everything.

Grassley just made me laugh. He said (commenting on something Kennedy said) that if we pass this bill and make them all legal, they don't need a card to prove they're legal.

Random thought on making felons citizens. Don't Felons in the U.S. currently lose the right to vote? Will amnestized Illegal Aliens that have committed felons, but put on a path to citizenship be able to eventually vote?

If so there is a major problem here...
