Thread: Sessions starts the ball rolling on compromise amnesty bill

Just heard on C-SPAN that Sen. Sessions will start debate on the bill this afternoon around 1:30. Supposedly he has three hours alloted to him. The cloture vote is expected at 5:30. Just thought I'd upate you.

I'm sure Sen. Sessions will bring up any and all nasty secrets hiding in the bill.

I would suggest that everyone take a minute to call Jeff Sessions' office and encourage him to stand strong this afternoon. Mention the fact that the 'back taxes' provision has been removed from the bill and will lead to 20 million Americans not paying THEIR taxes, either.

I already called. I think they were a little shocked to hear from someone from Ohio.

Sessions is on right now... He's a Great American Senator. I'm listening to him and leaving phone messages to other Senator's as well.

It's great to be pro-active and letting them know we are involved in this from now on and life will never be the same for those in Congress that think they will just slide stuff under the radar any more...no way.

I like watching them like a HAWK!
