that's what's so twisted about all this mess . . . OUR government is more concerned about people that aren't legally in this country than it is about the veterans that have fought for this country. How many vets became alcoholics and homeless because they couldn't handle being treated like scum of the earth by their government

Our veterans are my second biggest issue. I was appalled by their plight since the Viet Nam Era and have always done anything I can to make their live more tolerable. The answer to your question "how many?" is "Too many." Living in a military town, I see way more than I want to know. Living in a military town where, with the majority of the soldiers deployed, 51% of the population is illegal immigrants who employ discriminatory tactics against the Americans our vets have fought and are fighting for, makes it doubly nauseating.

Thats why we need a 3rd party.
A strong 3rd party will break the status quo and bring change. Americans are afraid of change and thus wont look further than the archaic two party system.

I agree VegasVic. Only problem is that some third parties are against social programs and vetran services falls under that category. You have to read their platforms.
