We too own the John Adams DVD series, excellent excellent. And I want to add a young person recommended it to us.
Also The Real George Washington is great, he is my hero. Hard to find heroes anymore.Support our FIGHT AGAINST illegal immigration & Amnesty by joining our E-mail Alerts at https://eepurl.com/cktGTn

For the record, I did not miss quote Ron Paul! His exact words during a 20/20 interview with John Stossel were - "I don't think the fence can solve a problem. I find it rather offensive."
Furthermore, it is a fact that he has voted for amnesty in the past. The proof of what I've said is verifiable:
Excerpt:
(1) Paul consistently voted every year since 1999 against putting the military on the border:
2006: H. Amdt. 206 to H.R. 1815
2004: Goode Amendment to H.R. 4200
2003: Goode Amendment to H.R. 1588
2002: H. Amdt. 479 to H.R. 4546
2001: Traficant amendment to HR 2586
2000: Traficant amendment to H.R.4205
1999: Trafficant Amendment to H.R. 1401.
(2) Paul voted in 1997, 2001( H.R. 1885) and 2002 (H RES 365) to grant, extend or continue Section 245-i amnesties for illegal aliens.
(3) Paul voted NO on extending the voluntary Basic Pilot Workplace Verification Program (H.R. 2359),
(4) Paul voted NO on the border fence in 2005 (Hunter Amendment to HR 4437 - "Enforcement Only" Bill).
(5) Paul voted YES to increase H2-B (HR 763 in 2005) and H-1B visas (HR 3736 in 199. In 1998, he voted to allow US firms to lay off Americans to replace them with foreigners.
Now, exactly where did I miss quote or report false facts on Paul?
Ron Paul may not be the worst on the issues of border security and illegal immigration, he's far from the best (IMO). The mans armor does have some serious chinks."The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing" ** Edmund Burke**

I am not attempting to start a problem about Ron Paul here. I can only go by what I have studied. It is really hard to go back and study every vote and reason for the votes posted above. Often times it is something in the bill that will make a constituent baulk at a bill. The "for other purposes" in each one would make me vote no on all of them. I think this is a horrible practice and should be stopped.
I can only reiterate that I have watched many videos where I believe Ron to be on point that a fence will not fix the problem. I don't think he has said that we should not secure our borders (but I could be wrong). Like you say...it does not take a genius to understand there is not one fix...and he is just making the point. It is an internal problem. A government inaction to protect as law dictates that has created the problem is the number one reason. IMHO

I did try to research one point just for fun and came up with this on the 2005 HR 4437. I do see he did vote yes for it but found some kind of objection with amendments.
I try really hard to not take things personally when it comes to politics because there is so much disinformation out there. I do know that Ron really gets more than his share.
