This is SO true of my HOA! In my case it would be easier to MOVE than it will be to get them to do anything.
Once when they insisted I paint my house, I asked about why they weren't getting after the nieghbors who had missing shutters and other violations-
I was actually told by one of them that they only go after the homeowners who try to abide by the rules.

I am in a HOA with a lot of liberals in conservatives clothing . They have a clique going on that benefits from these types . plus they break rules they are suppose to enforce .

I don't know if you read my post about the 100 rounds of semi-automatic and high power guns right outside my gates when we fought to protect our property values . 911 recorded most of it yet it ended with us basicaly being called a racest for calling every county and state agency to get the third worlders out . I was threatened in a HOA meeting too and all the member cowards sat silent . I told everyone of them what they were at that meeting !

Be careful and don't do it alone . We stay to ourselves now and keep low profile .

I am still in active conversation with the HOA. They have talked to the Dept of Homeland Security and such. They were told any fines would go to the landscaper, not the HOA. They are seeking legal counsel on the matter. I am hoping this will cause them to reconsider using a suspected landscape company so they don't have to deal with the issue at all. He is even re-wording any contracts the HOA does with outside help/vendors.

2 of my nieghbors think that it is okay for the illegals to do the landscaping. They say no one else will do it. I pointed out to them the error of their ways. When I brought up the sex offender question, they began to think twice. One of them is married to a sheriff. She also was mad that I was doing this because if we had to hire another landscaper, our HOA fees would go up. Hopefully now my car won't be damaged or my dog poisoned. This happened to a friend of mine who went against the grain.

Today a woman was selling food out of her van to the landscapers. Clearly she was because she had 3 large coolers in the back of her car. I know it wasn't a relative bringing them food. They shook their heads no to the food she had in her hand and by the time I got turned around to get another look, she drove off. I followed her and called the police. She knew I was following her. I got close enough to get her plate. They never did find her, although I haven't called back more than once to ask.
By the time I got home, the landscapers were gone also, they didnt finish the job. I think they are aware of me. My store logo is on my van also so that is a big minus, oh well.

I drove out a drug dealer in my neighborhood in CA. I openly filmed them, wrote down their plates, yelled at them. It was a young man and his mom living in the house. She came over and begged me to quit fighting them because her son could not work because he had been shot and was now in a wheelchair. I could not believe she figured him selling drugs was okay because of his disability.

If I could fight them, I can fight this too.

Stop following these folks, especially in a uniquely marked van. You never know of their individual affiliations with gangs like MS-13, etc.
It wouldn't be inconcievable for them to bait an over-zealous person into following them to an isolated location where they could "dispose" of their problem. Stranger things have happened, and given that you probably spontaneously react and dash off after them, your chances of anyone even knowing where you went would be even more dangerous. Having a cell phone handy is great, but getting to use it in the event of an emergency might not be possible.

I'm not trying to scare you, just be mindful of all the possibilities...
When you make people angry you just never know what they are capable of, particularly criminals.

Your homeowners association may need to be more careful.


No one wants to get caught up in the lawlessness and the government has a duty to protect the public. Becoming involved in aiding and abetting is a felony!

They may need to try my two-step plan.

We may have to kiss the keisters of the illegal invaders, it is still a felony to aid and abet them.

If some honest men and women in law enforcement, would go after the lowlifes in the government, business and the general population that have been aiding and abetting them, by the time they had enough of a handle on the job to raise their heads and look around, I don’t think many illegal aliens would still be left.

We don't need any new laws to do this either. Just some honest men and women that take their oaths of office seriously.

And spudmom, thanks for taking the initiative to fight this! I had the exact same problem at my gated community HOA except my problem was so huge (they would let the landscaping workers take their lunch break at the PLAYGROUND ) that I had to move when nothing was done. I fear for the kid's in the neighborhood whose parents won't move them out of the danger zone.
