I do not live in Utah so I am getting my information from Team America and this site. I just listen to a voice mail from John Jacob and he informed me if we have any questions about his contract with Utah/America to give him a call at 801-473-8687.
The things I have read about Chris Cannon scare the hell out of me, so I donated to John Jacobs election campaign. Hopefully he will be one of our supporters.
Please e-mail or call him to let him know we are watching.

I get my information from a guy who not only lives in Utah, but has been working to get rid of Cannon for years. I also know that he's been working with TeamAmerica and knows Bay personally. This guy I know is on the front lines. TeamAmerica is desperate to get rid of Cannon and that's why they are endorsing Jacob and yeah anyone is better than Cannon, but don't be suprised that this guy doesn't turn out to be any good.

Butterbean is right. This guy Jacob has so far ran an aweful campaign. Even worse than the one ran by Throckmorton who opposed Cannon two years ago in the primaries and at least Throckmorton ran like he had a clue (he was just too lazy). Maybe Beau Babka should give it another go for the Democrats.

Yes, it is obvious that there will be jerks using this issue for power, unfortunatly.....

BUT the MOST IMPORTANT THING is to kick out CANNON no matter WHAT!

What's the point in kicking out Cannon if you end up getting someone who isn't any better? That's the problem with our cause is that these Johnny come latelys will use this issue and say what we want to hear just to get elected and once they do, they will stab us in the back. If this clown isn't talking about amnesty or the Senate bill then he's up to something.

This is absolutely true. I am in Cannon's district and I have to tell you that I would love nothing more than to move this corrupt putz out of office. However, I'm not a single issue voter nor am I going to be satisfied just to have Chris Cannon out of office. I want someone in that's actually going to do the job right... on ALL issues. Last election Chris Cannon went on to local spanish radio stations and told illegals they could help out by contributing to his campaign and even encouraged their children to contribute. When he was called on the snafu he backtracked big time. It was so bad that, for the first time in Utah history, federal election officials came in to watch the election to ensure fraud wasn't taking place in Cannon's behalf. The sad part is that most voters weren't keeping up on these events and voted for him anyway. I spoke to numerous people after the election that said they voted for him and had they known he had been courting illegals would have voted against him.

Excluding the war, which issue do you have that's more important than keeping your country?

We are about to endorse and contribute to the John Jacob campaign.

I have spoken with Mr. Jacob and his staff at length. Sure, he does not know a great deal about the FTAA or Building a North American Community, but neither does most of the Congress and American public at this point.

I am not fond of these litmus races. We came out on top in the Bilbay race, but no one race should be given so much weight when you consider what a bloodbath things will be coast to coast on this issue in the fall.

That being said, the Open Borders PAC and the Bush admin are weighing in behind Cannon. ALIPAC was formed to help candidates that face these OBL US Chamber interests. We need to weigh in.

Our researchers have been combing this race for several days and we find nothing with Jacobs that contradicts our platform and Jacobs and staff have indicated agreement with our ALIPAC platform. I went over each of the four points with him by phone last night.

Betterimmigration.com gives Cannon an overall grade of C but we are requesting they lower that score. They give him a B+ under "other benefits" I guess they did not get the word that people say Cannon is the reason they have in-state tuition for illegals in Utah.

Not only is Team America PAC on board, but so is 9/11 FSA and Tim Bihn's group.

No candidate or race is perfect, but we our board members feel we need to step up to the plate on this one.

But right now, this moment in time, 1 issue is all we can afford to care about. If we do not bend Washington to our will...sadly no other issues are going to matter. This country will die.

Well put DLM! If 80% of Americans cant have our existing laws enforced why would anyone thing that they have the slightest say over any other issue?

To be honest, I really do not like these "litmus" races. There are so many things that affect the outcome of a particular race. The national attention is making this race a test and I'm not so certain our side picked it to be the test.

We will see. Some of our board members did not like Jacob's talk of a fast pass but we feel we can get him off that if he wins this race.
