Shortly before his horrific crime, the murderer Issa Mohammed posted a statement of religious devotion in Arabic on Facebook. A few hours later he barbarously slaughtered his former roommate Wilhelm L. savagely in front of the latter’s daughter – in the street.
So far, a “purely private motivation” has been reported.
Since Thursday, several German newspapers and online portals have been reporting on the alleged Jordanian Palestinian Issa Mohammed, pointing out that the 28-year-old had acted “for personal reasons” or for private reasons.

Mohammed arrived in Germany in 2015 as an alleged “Syrian refugee” and on Wednesday, in the Fasanenhof residential district south of Stuttgart City, in the middle of a busy residential area, he savagely dismembered a German Kazakhstani known to him.
On Sunday screenshots of Mohammed’s Facebook account appeared on the Internet, which at least leave no doubt about the killer’s loyalty to Allah.
“In the name of God the Merciful – Every single person will die”, he wrote, and below: “Believe in the Almighty God”.
To what extent this post provides information about his mental state at the time of the crime, whether Mohammed was possibly acting out of a religious motivation or at least a trance, remains to be clarified.
The post seems like an encouraging manifesto for him and at least – like the chosen method of killing and the horrific routine shown by the perpetrator – leaves doubt about the fact that it was a mere act of relationship.
The choice of words is also more reminiscent of an Islamist letter of confession. The wording reveals in any case once more that for Muslims of strict faith brute force and Islam are unfortunately no contradiction.
