I went to Mebane nothing much happening there so went to main shopping center and to the parks....got very positive feed back.....at least 5 or 8 confirmed callers for monday....others seemed interested and supportive...however, I was suprised the amount of fairly higher income people would not even roll down their windows to take a flyer and talk to me....they literally snubbed me!? Also the under 25 year olds either were not interested or they laughed at me!?

Good job-- you have inspired a lot of folks here!!!

We need you on our phone calls and faxes, to Congress, too! Needs lots of people to make this campaign to stop the Senate effective!

Oh those Sis! Okay for some reason I wasn't thinking of those as "templates." I Emailed them but it won't let me print them to fax so I'll keep checking for plain text ones cuz I do prefer to fax it's more in their face....

Don't be discouraged by a low number of replys!
A lot of us are quickly scanning the boards and then focusing on calls right now! A LOT of posts just get a quick read right now and it is not in any way a snub!

you must be doing something wrong. Go to the BLITZ thread that we're working in and check with the guys there. We had a few fax problems here and there and there's always someone who winds up helping us figure it out.

Most of us who can, Fax out the templates so we know it works.

I called Dole and Burr..talk to one of Burr's staff but only got an ansering machine for Dole...which if I remember correctly she usually has only the answering machine on....

As for flyers...I used a format that is very similar to alipacs with alipac, fairus, minutemen civil defense corp, numbersusa...and a couple others....more than enough sites for folks to get their information from.
Also on the flyer are numbers to our state senators but I did request a few enthusiastic folks to call other senators from other states....

I have also been riding around with a banner on my cart (the size of 2 letter size paper banners) with my 2 state senators' numbers....I pray that it works...

So did anyone get out Friday and Saturday???

Lastly, I just want to let all of you know that you guys have given me encouragement and support in going out and doing this....everyone on this site is great...I love you guys!!!
