Time For A March On Washington?
Would someone please educate me! Why is it that there are Marches by illegal immigrant advocates, million man marches for the black man, marches to end the war, etc, etc. But, there NO marches on Washington demanding that our goverbment do something about the insidious, unimpeded invasion across our southern border? An invasion that threatens the very foundation of this country? Is it time?

I have asked this same question time and time again. It seems that everyone is so willing to sit at their computers and post article after article but when asked to march, npo one wants to say a thing. Notice how I am the only one that bothered to even respond. I am betting it is because I am the only other one besides yourself that has asked this and not gotton an answer.
I'm ready when you are, but then again, that would only leave 2 of us

MONEY.....time off work....expense of flights and motel rooms.....we have no-one funding us....we fund ourselves. All these other groups have the government and businesses funding them.....we don't have a group funding us. The Latinos have funding from foreign countries as well. Look at what cities sponsor these marches..BIG cities where the majority are minority populated. Not tough to get a big group together when they are all minorities. We've had 50 years telling us to BLEND.....I doubt we're the majority in any populated area where a bus ride would help us. We're sprinkled across the land. We couldn't "segregate" like the rest and settle in a special area.
Not to mention SAFETY. We respect the rights of others to gather peacefully......seen many marches where we were left alone?
Trust me....if they had to pay out of pocket for themselves and travel to remote parts of the country......they wouldn't have a big showing either.
Remember the ACLU isn't going to pay my legal bills when my rights are infringed upon.....I'm white, legal, and a citizen. Unless I can totally fund everything for my cause.....NOBODY is footing the bill.
Even locally.....you put yourself as a target when you make a stance. Either your very home....or your children in school. Heck they talk about illegals cowering......there's more legal citizens cowering in fear in their own homes. ICE has a few people....illegals are in the millions. I stand a better chance being terriorized than they do.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

I hear you Crazybird! I could imagine though, a march/rally in a large city where you and I both know that there are thousands just looking for a catalyst to vent their anger and concern. It seems to me that this has got to be the next logical step nationwide. Could you imagine, a march to force our own government to enforce our laws?!

Totally, we are on the same page. This kind of march requires alot of organization and leadership. Leadership being the most important. I would venture to guess that one BIG rally in a major city would be the catalyst for other cities!

Short notice . How long has this been planned ?
I went to Georgia last year to protest with truckers in Atlanta . I didn't know a single trucker, but found it on web . One emailed me back and it was set . The cops in Atlanta, my home town ,[although I left 35 years ago after the libs turned it into a ghetto city of crime and decadence ] , told the truckers ' what few who got involved ' that they would be ticked if they got off 285 and drove into the city . Also the Unions had threatened the drivers .
To make a long story short, most people still think security is too high cost for freedoms .
We are seniors and long trips are not fun anymore, but we made one and got stood up .
I may plan for this trip and do without some things like cancel family visit to go but I will need assurance that it won't be another long frustrating trip for nothing !

Exactly how long has this been in the planning state? Wish I would have known about it 1-2 months ago."The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing" ** Edmund Burke**
