How come we're just now hearing about this?

Exactly how long has this been in the planning state? Wish I would have known about it 1-2 months ago.
MW - I did post info back in March when I first heard of it. I guess people passed it up:

Yeah, I guess it needed more support from all the various pro-legal immigration groups to get noticed (more publicity). I can't say I did or didn't see the post in March - don't remember.

Even if you can't attend please read and sign the on-line petition which will be presented to Congress at the Rally on the 15th.

You can go directly to the petition at www.petitiononline.com/USRC01/petition.html

If you want to download the petition and mail it please go to the above Granny Warriors site.

OldGuy, I'm an older lady, but I know how you feel . Thanks for your service .my son and lots of other family members are vets too .

Sad to say,but not too many vets are interested anymore , none in my family anyway, they just complain about lack of work or stock markets. I am dissapointed but still love them of course .

I signed and mailed it to all on my e-mail list since this is our chance, delivered in person, to let Congress know we are FED UP.
