Too many unanswered questions.

I am afraid this bill will prove to be too costly to implement and nothing but amnesty will be carried out at the end. 2+2 do not add up to 4 in this bill.

If American citizens are paying for this bill to be implemented, they should also have a voice and a vote.

When this bill is passed, illegal aliens will be given instant Legal Status with the same rights and benefits as any American citizen. Why would they care if they have citizenship of not? What will happen if in that 8 years they do not complete the requirement to apply for citizenship? Not pay the $5,000 fine, not learn English, not go home or any place outside of U.S. etc. What happens then?

Do the $5,000 apply to each illegal family member?

What happens to those who do not pass a background check or do not come out of the shadows because of criminal background?
Are they rounded up, put on busses or planes and deported? Criminal Background check to qualify for legal status will not bring criminals out of the shadows. This will drive then further into the shadows and into criminal activity. What will be criteria used to be classified as a criminal?

All illegals that are criminals do not have a criminal background as many gang members that have not be caught and convicted of a crimes. How do we get a credible criminal background check from counties they are from and will those countries co-operate?

How will they be found, will we look for them and what will happen to them if found?

What will happen to those that come here after Jan 1, 2007?

If there is no sharing of information between federal and local, is this not more of the same? Signed affidavits saying you were here before Jan 1, 2007 cannot be investigated, according to this bill, is this not more of the same?

After given Legal Status and one should commit a crime are they deported with their families?

Humanitarians, like churches will be exempt from prosecution under this bill, for aiding and abetting. The will still be able to give sanctuary to criminals who do not meet requirements for Legal Status.

What happens to a guest worker and family, if in the 2 years that they are here an anchor baby is born? Will they stay or be deported?

Those deported and them cross again have committed a felony, what will we do to find them and what will be done if found?

Cornyn amendment will not give Legal Status for Elvira Arellano and will deport her. In this bill she would not be deported, but those who over stay visa would be?
